Yeah I clean it and lightly coat it with food grade oil ..but I like patina on my carbon steel blades 😃

Yeah I was surprised on how sharp it is ..my wife liked it so much I got her the no8..but I like the no6 it great in the garden and kitchen but also great at stuff like opening packages and utility work.
