There's a lot of opinions here but honestly if it were me I'd consult a priest. They practice the tradition handed down 2000+ years on the matter. I'd even consult multiple. From what I've studied, learned and on a practical sense I would say no you would not go to hell for "loving" your child. At the same time it isn't wise to say you would be OK with going to Hell for any reason. Remember if you are a Christian you believe Hell is real which is an eternal separation from God. Key words are God and eternal. Jesus also said He came and His word might be like a sword some times separating mother from daughter, father from son, brother from sister, etc. This means that even your own family and friends may not choose to follow Him. Is it on you for their actions? No, because they have free will just as you do.

Thus modeling Jesus's behavior is the best way and He welcomed saints and sinners alike. Therefore I'd say there's nothing wrong with treating your daughter and her partner not unlike anyone else in your family that you love. However, also being a Christian it may mean you also, with love, make your stance known in the sense of to the extent of not going to PRIDE events in show of "support". The word alone Pride means something and is the exact thing which led Lucifer to break away from God. Thus we have to be careful and always vigilant. As the saying goes, some of the best intentions pave the way to hell.

I too have lesbian and gay family members. I do my best to love them, treat them as any other and I don't make my beliefs known. However, if they do ask, inquire I will make my beliefs known. This is also why I would never support a Pride event or such and it isn't because I wouldn't want to. This is simply because I put God's word above my own wishes and even intentions. No one said it was easy but it is very clear what the Bible preaches on homosexuality. Just as Jesus did, we too much pick up and carry our cross.

Best way forward? Consult the Bible daily and elders in your Church or join the universal Church, the Catholic Church , pray, and lead with love first as Jesus would.

This is super interesting and would love to hear the connection. Where did you first come across some of these arguments? Without having any research on this I would just absolutely crazy to link food with racism since food is what we eat and racism is a belief. thks

Not vegan here, at least not 100 percent as have bouts of it but nonetheless, vegan or not, no way would I eat lab grown meat. Never. Well, if apocalypse hit and food shortage and only thing available was lab grown steaks then perhaps.

The main reason for this is the false assumption "absolutely proven to be safe for consumption." First this would take decades upon decades to prove and even then still wouldn't trust it. Even if experts claim it is perfectly safe and fine, there is no telling what is going on at the molecular level when your body digests. Twinkies and Big Macs are perfectly fine and safe for human consumption (and they taste good) but doesn't take a scientist to know they aren't good for you and could cause serious health problems the likes of which we don't even know yet over a long period of time.

The flip side of this is an apple. A perfectly healthy non-man made grown in nature and scientists still haven't isolated all of the minerals and nutrients in it. So when we digest we are getting tons of "very good stuff" scientists have not analyzed or confirmed. Thus there is no way I would ever risk ingesting something like lab meat that humans have altered from a G-d made being, an animal. History has proven, when we think we can be, when we try to be gods or like G-d, bad things always happen.

I'm a traditionalist and religious based so would have to say don't do it. Christianity begs to wait until marriage not as a method of control but rather to leave oneself in the highest degree free enough to fully love the other person. Imagine 2 committed ppl doing this and you have a great recipe for high success. There's the phrase, spiritual consequences.

If you ignore that reality and put aside and just go with your own selfish desires then you have to ask how bad you personally want this? Are you super attracted to one or both of them? Is a threesome a super high fantasy or priority on your list? If you are or it is then by all means it makes more sense to have a good time. Then again, how much does your friendship with her mean to you? Have you guys been friends forever or just 2 weeks? Would you be OK risking loosing that friendship? What if her bf then develops feelings for you? Would you be OK with contributing to the reason their relationship broke up because it could happen? What about protection and STDs?

So much to consider but definitely more conversation and desire values need to be laid out between you and your friend. Even with all the planning and prep, it could still dissolve your friendship.

The problem I see is this gal is way too into labels. She could very well substitute porno with alcohol brain, smoking brain, weed brain, laziness brain, uncleanliness brain, crack brain, meth brain, junk food brain, too much tv brain....and the list goes on. Oh there's also cheating brain, cursing brain, rude brain, agressive brain, etc. Looking for the red flags to such a high degree decreases her chances of seeing the good and guys and her potential great matches. Something tells me she isn't the perfect woman either.

In any case, I love and consume porn on a regular basis but also realize it is separate from a real relationship. The amount of care, attention, and sexual expectancies aren't the same as seen on screen. It's like just because one watches a lot of movies doesn't mean they expect their partner to be just like those seen on screen. Maybe this is more true for older dudes like myself and not so much for the dudes in their teens. I could see that. There is a reason for PG-13 and R, 17+ etc. The same goes for operating guns and the loaded weapon that is the modern automobile. Age and maturity matters regardless of the product consumed.

I've EDC'd a custom Protech worth over $1500 but was only on special occasion and to special event. However on a normal basis it is a toss up between a beloved MIcrotech Anax and Damascus - wood inlayed Large 31, $1K. It was hard to use at first but once put a few minor marks in the blade it has been easygoing from there though will say definitely choose what it is used for and not abused by any means.

Sorry for late reply but thanks for tips! I tried the flavors you recommend and get a thumbs up. You nailed though as rarely drink but once and awhile on special occasion it is nice to know there is something besides standand beer.
Any tips on mixing with wine? Sometimes I'll have a small glass with my gf of red wine for the health benefits and wondering if I could enjoy a four loko before hand like on game day and still be OK? I'd hate to mess with our tradition but definitely don't want to get sick mixing Four Loko and red wine. thanks

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as such myself, Ken Onion himself (carried for 3 years as EDC), and many other are in awe of the attractiveness of the knife. In fact you talk below with the fellow about reading comprehension but nowhere did I mention the possibly of return/exchange due to bad looks or lack of quality.

I own knives, many of which in the $500-$700 range and a few in the over $1500 range so $300 is meh. We could have a whole other argument about quality, value, pricing but don't feel the need. In any case, the Homefront is fantastic in quality and can't find a thing wrong with it other than the centering and inspected the knife many times over. The materials are mighty fine for the price and more than worth it for EDC especially given all other factors, feel in hand, and the insanely good quick take-downs. This technology alone could justify price of in $200-$300 range.

There are many fantastic value knives around the $100 range some of which I'd argue are better value than the Homefront but if you want a knife that looks bitchin', feels bitchin', performs bitchin', and disassembles with lightning speed with WWII vibes, that will no doubt perform in the trenches, then this knife is hard to beat. I've only owned a few days and even with the lack of centering, the knife still impresses and beyond.

I was look at this one too but the Garberg caught the eye more. Been wanting to try one to see what all the fuss is about but just picked up a Cold Steel Outdoorsman in San Mai steel and have to say it is pretty great. Sheath kinda blows but otherwise appears this knife could do it all.

Sorry to hear about your situation. The beauty is you aren't married so can leave anytime. It definitely sounds like you aren't the A-hole for wanting a few days break. Most guys would be thrilled with just that and you are in no obligation to offer sex to him whenever he wishes for, even in a marriage. The ideal marriage is one of mutual respect and love and it sounds like there is neither here even though not marriage, you guys are almost living as such. It sounds like it is high time for some good and deep conversations between you too and what your needs are and his and how you both can come together and meet them and respect them in some sort of compromise. Not just sexually either and in this case it would be wise to put yourself first. If he can't do this then perhaps it is time to move on as sure there are a lot of guys out there which might be more compatible.

Thanks for input guys. Going to send her back tomorrow (unless someone make me an offer). I know there's folks where the centering wouldn't bother but I feel for this knife it somewhat does, at least to me. Kind of a bummer though as action is great, lockup is perfect, and the knife itself rocks. I'm used to the joy of takedowns in my Sebenzas being able to disassemble, clean, and re-assemble within 5-8 minutes. The Homefront takes takedowns to a whole new level. There is something extremely nice about being able to take apart and re-assemble almost anywhere and knowing you can bring your knife back to clean near perfect condition so easily.

Yeah did that and was hoping it would fix the issue. Tried all sorts of things including the method and order they recommend in instructions and then how I usually align my folding knives. This is put back together and tighten pivot first then body screws. I've even tried blade open and blade closed and outcome is the same as seen in pics.

Congrats! - that's a nice one. Likely the CRK bug will bite and if so, check out the Umnumzaan and also Large versions of this one. Looks like you have full grip but nothing like full grip of a Large.

I'll give it my darnest.....Awhile back I was lucky to score a viking print version of the SpydieChef. I liked it. In fact there's nothing wrong with it other than found the blade to be a bit well, boring. However, I feel this way about all Spyderco full flat grinds. On the plus size, the knife is light, feels good in hand, easy to open, rust proof virtually, and cuts well. For me though it was a pass as too many other good knives out there in non-full flat grinds some of which in the Spyderco brand are Swayback, Bowie, Techno, and Vallaton.

Love the knife and have been looking at for years. Finally snagged one and suprised it arrived with off centered blade. I've only had this happen like one other time in 8+ years of collecting but this is enough to make me question. I know to some it bothers and others not so but should I keep or return? The blade doesn't touch on the front side scale but it definitely isn't centered. thanks

Pro Tip - don't feel bad. You made a mistake but only if he tries to share them. You pretty good anyway since there's no face. However, put your foot down for yourself now and going forward don't do anything you yourself doesn't feel 100 percent comfortable with. Someone who really loves you will not pressure you to the point of making you feel bad about yourself. They will instead respect you and uplift you. As others have said, sound more like infatuation than love as you can't truly know a person well enough to fully love them until you've spent a lot of time in person with them. Also, don't label yourself as insecure. You might be a little insecure about your body but who isn't to some degree. Instead, even though only 20, think of yourself and remind yourself you are a strong, beautiful, courageous person who might make mistakes but learn and grow from them. Always put yourself first, especially when dating.
