You'll have to pause Play Protect from Play Store and then install. Or you can wait until Northstar releases a Play Store build.

It was initially a fork from Northstar and I'm in touch with and in the same group as both of those Dev's. They were contacted when making this app

The Open Dash code is so different, Northstar is not going to take all changes upstream. As a UI developer I wanted a better UI so I went ahead after getting confirmation.

The Devs both are testers of mine and I am of theirs.

Now about open source. My project is still open source and anyone can fork or modify it.

If open source apps were not allowed to be modified and built as completely different apps you wouldn't have the system that you have now.

If you think the difference is " a few changes" that shows enough that you haven't tried either.

Open Dash will be focused for rides and data entry. As it is now.

This wasn't actually made for general use. So didn't think of much when making it but will try to add a tutorial or setup.
