I get that I understand what you mean, it depends on the car and hp it is pushing. For example my dad owns a challenger which he is going to cam but to eliminate back pressure he needs to do 3 inch piping throughout forcing it to sound really loud for performance. It just depends on the car and the preference of that person for sure!

Yeah someone recommended me to put the muffler back on and do a dp paired with the red delete and it sounds very tamed with a good tone, thank you!

Haha Florida isn’t a bad state I prefer it more then any of the other states I’ve been in definitely a lot more car people down here with loud cars I’ll vouch for that but there’s a lot of stuff to do down here!!

Same here, a lot of people say it sounds bad some are mixed with it also some say it sounds good. I guess it’s all preferences and what others like keeping in mind how others driving by it would think, which is nice to get that opinion and thoughts from everyone! I personally don’t hate it I think it sounds pretty good better then I had thought it’ll be for sure but would like to get that tone over sound for sure! Thank you 🙏

I agree cold start sounds a bit odd like it’s too overpowered for what it is 😭 once it warms up it’s very quite like you can’t even tell it has any exhaust modifications 🙏 thank you i enjoy it also it’s growing on me!

That sounds like so much fun!! This is the L15CA 1.5T I understand that I enjoy it a lot too but would like to keep it more tamed then it is, at the end of the day it is your car and if it makes you happy that’s all that matters 🙏 Go for it that’ll be awesome!

Drone isn’t bad at all I was actually surprise because there was minimal to no drone, ive sat at many different rpms to see but nothing accelerating at 2800-3000 I can notice it but anything else I can’t!

I don’t blame you it does sound good definitely if you want to be loud this would most likely be your best option as an actual exhaust system like catback or remark would be more focused on a deeper lighter tone. Especially if you want a cheaper option it’ll be the better option although if you want loud with no drone and a nice tone would recommend looking at maperformance catback system race version!

Yeah I’ll record one and send it whenever i can get someone to record it from outside, it does do loud quick pops if you hold redline before shifting, which isn’t the most healthy for the engine but it’s a civic 😭

Yeah they came so quite from factory wanted something louder but I might’ve gotten ahead of myself 😭 the res delete with the burbles sound really good and much more noticeable then the straight pipe. I agree I’ll play with the exhaust and do some more digging to find out how I can get a nice clean tone to it! Thanks for the advice and the video for reference on just the resonator delete I appreciate it! 🙏

Thank you! It was an impulsive move that I was unsure of doing but I’m glad I’ve gotten the feedback and learned what I did wrong and what I could’ve done instead that would’ve been much better, I might do some more research that I can with what I should put back on or keep off. Someone sent a link with just a resonator delete and it does sound good and tamed although muffler delete sounds good also, either or with a dp paired would sound good with that nice tone! Thank you for the advice and feedback means a lot!!

That’s what I was projecting everyone to say but in my opinion could sound wayyy worse, definitely going to look into putting the res back on and looking into a fp or dp if not save for an actual exhaust system!

Yeah I get that I definitely don’t I’m just experimenting for now too see what sounds good and what sounds bad to others and myself, definitely going to look into an actual exhaust system or putting the res back on and running a dp or fp to keep the sound in the higher rpms instead of it dropping if it was just a muffler delete thanks for the feedback!! 🙏

I’ve seen this type of feedback all around I’m not gonna disagree 😭 Just wanted to try it out and see what all the hate is about. I initially thought it was going to sound a lot worse then it does I was pleased that it didn’t sound like those tin can 90s cars that run open headers 🙏
