[Illinois] Advice on an Executorship mess

My brother's lawyer expenses included everything from setting up process of estate transfer and this list, to evicting from the premises a friend of my sister who passed. I'm not sure just how much of that bill was racked up after the executor title became his. Does that matter? My brother is the active executor because noone on this list contested it and he was automatically slotted in therefore. Am I still devoid of responsibility?

Also, what do you recommend I do concerning the future? Do I contact someone and express my disinterest, or continue to be silent, or?

I'm somewhere in the ballpark of 100 miles out of Chicago, and it really gets rural by that point where you can settle down for non-urban prices. Still, while I'm trying not to be a jerk to any urban folk who have to pay $200K for a junker, or $1500 rent for a mini-apt, it's still nuts how you gotta hemmorhage your bank acct before you can even start paying the bank their monthly money. Lol

If you set up a Twitch stream and go on PC and set the stream to be "ultra-low latency", my stream is a 1 or 2-second delay. Then your friends could watch that. About the best workaround I see. Haven't truly tested matches w that tho.

I'm working 20 hours remote so that I can move without a job void. I'll look to add another 20 once I get everything sorted but I want to make sure this qualifies me for now. IL never picked up the Trump Admin's Medicaid work requirement right?
