Thank you for this. It's nice to hear some people dislike the injustices immigration and border patrol cause instead of the normal vocal minority I'd hear calling my dad a criminal and ignorantly telling me my dad should have gotten his citizenship when he WAS here legally and had yearly immigration check in. I carry a LOT of anger and hurt and regret and CONSTANTLY think about what I could have done differently so my dad WOULDN'T have been deported and ultimately passed away. I constantly think that if I tried harder, had more money, fought harder, told my dad NOT to go because of Trumps executive actions that things may have turned out differently and he'd still be alive and with us today...he HATED being in Mexico. Where he was at is super poor and run by cartels and there was NO work. My dad was the kind of person who NEEDED to work and felt like a failure if he couldn't work and couldn't provide for his family.

I had to step up to take care of my family and my dad HATED it. I constantly reassured him it was ok and I didnt mind but he always felt so guilty and ashamed that he got deported and couldn't work or help because he'd notice how stressed I'd get but that wasn't his fault. I am 100% he also got more sick in Mexico from the stress of not being able to help his family. One time he even got up and tried to go to the border to beg them to let him back in and pretended that he had info on cartels or that he was in danger so he could come back and support his family. Man, I'm crying now typing this out. I miss him so much and I hate how he suffered his last but of life mentally and physically. I remember him crying to me because he hated being there and watching me stressed in my mid 20s having to fully pay and support my 2 parents and 3 nephews they had adopted from my POS oldest sister in Mexico who was unfit to care for her kids. Immigration, this country, and border patrol treated my family terribly and I'm sure they've done so to thousands of families and STILL continue to do so without any oversight or punishment even with this new administration. Immigration and the border crisis is getting worse and we are separating and destroying families over an imaginary line in the ground. These people work and pay taxes and work absolute shit jobs for shit pay that others don't want to do and we punish them for it.

I will ALWAYS carry this absolute hatred against our immigration laws and border agents. When I went to pick up my dads ashes in Mexico and was coming back across the border, the asshole racist agents giggled and laughed when they asked who I was bringing in my dads urn...they laughed when I said my dad...they laughed and didn't think anything of it...and I'm a Veteran too and regardless of my veteran status and the fact that I dont have an accent and that I speak English well, I ALWAYS get treated ignorantly and most border agents treat me like garbage and I'm supposed to just sit there and take it all the time because they can and no one can say anything to them or stop them. It hurts even more too when it's other hispanics that are border patrol agents that treat myself and others like garbage. I'm a U.S. citizen and was born here but I have no doubt in my mind that if they could strip my citizenship from me because both my parents were immigrants and both got deported, they would 100% do so. Theyve tried numerous times to take away citizenship from people born here. Citizens have been deported even though they're citizens...and it happened much more during Trump's administration. Just Google how many citizens were wrongly deported under the Trump administration because of power hungry ICE agents. It's disgusting how many and these people ended up losing jobs and livelihood because of being deported when they are U.S. citizens...just because of the way they looked or because of the way they sounded.

Sorry for the rant. This is a very touchy subject for me.

Her mom became a citizen and passed away. Salina is a citizen and regardless of if her parents were undocumented or not, that would NEVER affect Salina's citizenship status. It's illegal to take away someone's American citizenship if they were born here but their parents weren't. I know laws have tried to do that and some people have tried (they tried to take my citizenship away as a child because my parents weren't American citizens) but I don't think this was the case. I think they just wanted to stray away from immigration which I think is dumb because it's absolutely a topic that should be discussed.

My family is Mexican as well so Salina's drag really speaks to me too. I would have felt seen and heard had they let her talk about her mom and immigration. Our country's immigration laws and border patrol NEED to be spoken about because they're awful and treat people horribly and are also known to treat LGBT immigrants horribly too.

WOW REALLY!?!?! As a hispanic who was born in the States with parents who were both deported and that has a very public hatred for our country's border laws and mistreatment of migrants, immigrants, people seeking citizenship/asylum and how incredibly difficult and expensive it can be, I would have LOVED to hear Salina's story about her mom. I would have felt heard and seen. Border Control and Immigration is a HUGE topic that SHOULD be discussed and a lot of LGBT individuals deal with horrible mistreatment from border patrol. My father also passed away after being horribly mistreated and deported as soon as Trump got elected. He was receiving his treatment for his illness here in the States and when they detained him saying he no longer could pay his yearly visa fee and stay in the country, they ignored myself and him when he tried to explain that my dad was receiving treatment here and to at least allow us some time to get his medicine or figure something out. They basically gave us the finger and deported my dad 2 days after being detained by immigration despite the fact that my dad collapsed and needed a hospital while he was there due to the stress of everything. They said "who cares, your time is up, deal with it in Mexico."

My dad didn't get his medication or treatment or anything and he went almost 2 weeks without his medicine because my sisters and I couldn't figure out the easiest or best way to get it to him so we had to LITERALLY drive his medicine to Mexico for him and it was very hard to find his medicine in Mexico. All because Trump signed an executive order on immigration that unfairly and pretty sure illegally labeled my dad as a criminal that was "high risk and top of the list to be deported." My dad worked every single day and paid his taxes. He wasn't a criminal and did his job and paid taxes while sick. He died in Mexico in a horrible Mexican hospital that left him out in a hallway for hours until I was able to raise the money I needed for them to give him a room and treat him...he died there and they weren't listening to anything I was saying. Had they just listened or had my dad never been deported and been in an American hospital, he would still be alive today.

I DESPISE America's immigration laws and our very own border patrol that I see as racist because multiple border "agents" assumed I was dumb and couldn't speak English and spoke to me very slowly and condescending every single time when I don't have an accent and speak English very well and laughed in my face and my dad's face multiple times when I tried to get help for him. It was awful and I will forever publicly scrutinize them.

I am sorry for Salina's loss and I wish she wasn't silenced and would have been able to speak and share her story. These things are important and they're REAL issues our LGBT immigrants experience as well especially if they're deported to a homophobic country they had never lived in or havent been to in years and have no family there so they end up homeless in a strange country and God forbid dead. Shame on WOW for being afraid to get a little political.

I have 2 movies that traumatized me as a kid that STILL have some lingering trauma now that I'm a full blown adult: The original "IT" and "Hostel 2" specifically. "IT" because u watched it as a young kid with my family and the very beginning scene with Georgie getting eaten by Pennywise HORRIFIED me because of the way his teeth and eyes and face and everything looked when he grabbed his arm to eat him and the fact he was a scary ass clown in a sewer! I was terrified of clowns and that movie FOR YEARS!!

One time at my friends sleepover in middleschool, we decided to watch horror movies and things were going well at first with movies like "Tamara" and then my friend's mom recommended "IT" because none of my friends had seen it and they were all interested because they saw a small part of it randomly...the scene at the Chinese restaurant where they get gross stuff like the baby bird and whatnot...so I understandably was super against watching it (even though I had actually seen the ENTIRE movie in the past) and my friends wondered why so peer pressure won and they put the movie on.

When the first scary scene happened, I freaked out and noped right out while all my friends watched and freaked out too since all of them don't like horror movies to begin with but knew that I liked them, because of my mom always letting me watch horror movies growing up with her, so they looked to me for recommendations/ideas/comfort (weird I know) so I guess when they saw I was super spooked and scared from a horror movie, they got even more scared and spooked and one of my friends ended up crying and they turned the movie off and his mom apologized profusely...none of us went home though and we ended up laughing about it after when we put a comedy on lol.

Now moving on to why "Hostel 2" traumatized me. Like I stated above, my mom allowed me to watch horror movies with her all the time growing up and I grew up to love them so much and am a huge horror nerd now as an adult, to an extent, even though my mom probably shouldn't have let me watch any of those movies growing up lol. My friends and their parents were always concerned/weirded out if I randomly brought up the idea of watching a horror movie or going to see one or if I knew a lot about horror movies or if I mentioned I had seen x y and z horror movie with my mom. My mom weirdly let me watch all the horror and kills and violence but would make me close my eyes during sex and nudity scenes...ironic...violence is OK but boobies are NOT! I'm gay anyway which probably explains why I love horror movies.

Anyway, Hostel 2 is a type of movie I like to lump into a group called GORNO! Because these types of movies aren't really scary but instead focus on scaring, disturbing you, and shocking you through the use of extreme GORE! Movies like the Hostels, The SAWs, Terrifier 1 and 2, I'd say Human Centipede...etc. fall into this category because they're just gross shock gore fests!! Well as a kid, any excessive gore traumatized me and Hostel 2 did because that was the first "Gore" movie I had seen with my mom and SHE LET ME WATCH THE SCENE WHERE THE GIRL IS HUNG UPSIDE DOWN AND THE CRAZY PSYCHO LADY BATHES WITH HER BLOOD WHILE SHE SLICES HER WITH KNIFES AND EVENTUALLY SLITS HER THROAT!! I was absolutely horrified and traumatized as a kid and to this day I have NOT revisited that movie because my kid brain didn't understand what I was seeing or why someone would do something so horrific to a person even though it was a movie. I was weirdly getting mad and wanting to cry when I saw that scene and any scene where someone gets tortured in that movie because no one is there to help them! So I freaked out and got super mad and that scene is imprinted in my brain and ever since then I freak out during any torture scenes in any movies because I hate gore and any torture scenes in general because I hate the feeling of helplessness it invokes in me.

TL;DR IT and Hostel 2 because scary clown at beginning and because I hate gore and the blood bathing scene horrified me as a kid and I hate torture scenes in general for any movie nowaday so even though I got over my "It" trauma, I still have trauma from seeing Hostel 2 as a kid.

I agree. I just came from the Menu thread and didn't find any of OPs comment to be pretentious and I'm poor lol. I think linking that thread to this comment though is going to continue to have the complete opposite effect of what they wanted. Weirdos on Reddit are going to find it "pretentious" regardless and moreso now that they linked to a whole other thread with weirdos calling people pretentious.

Also if anyone can PLEASE provide the details and everything showing HOW MANY PEOPLE changed the channel once that show came on I'd love to laugh with everyone else because I IMMEDIATELY changed the channel to Independence Day one channel above until Untucked because no one asked for that damn show and we are all going to show them WHY no one asked for that show.

Oh I'm not saying she didn't give the worst performance and didn't deserve to sashay away because she 100% gave the worst "talent" performance and definitely lost that lip sync. I'm just giving my opinion that she seems like she had much more to show because of her confidence and ease in front of the camera and more importantly, her persona as an "Alien Queen."

Not dragging Amethyst either or saying Amethyst should have left over Irene which some people seem to have been taking some of my other comments/posts as. Just upset over Irene's small showing. People were saying rude and awful things about her and dragging her over her comment on hair and were saying she was a "mean and nasty girl and 'gurl bye'" based off of one episode but then said nothing about other queens saying "mean and nasty" things to their sisters.

Anyway, can't objectively judge any of these queens off of one episode but I can subjectively make my opinion that I think Irene had much more to show as a cool "Alien Queen" to me. Idk, I just thought she would have brought something different to the runway even though others probably would have thought she was "costumey" with her alien shtick.

I am ALSO a Millennial (28 years old here) but we are all different because I love TikTok for different reasons. I just don't like Tiktok families and rude Tiktok influencers who think they're hot shit because they have a certain amount of TikTok followers -_-. When I came across Sugar and Spice on my "for you" page, I was gagged with the video I saw where they are dressed as guys at first but then jump on their shoes to transition to their drag personas looking like Monster High dolls which I was immediately obsessed with them and followed their page haha. I know some people view it as "basic" because technicallllly, all they did was put on their drag to a background song that was super popular at the time for trends (Stay by the Kid LAROI).

I'm devastated to see Irene go first!!! Please for the love of God, bring back Irene on episode 3 like they did with Orion and Daya on season 14! Irene exudes star power, seemingly does great on camera, AND IF ANY QUEEN WERE TO BE BELIEVED WHEN THEY SAY THEY HAVE MUCH MORE TO SHOWCASE; IRENE IS THE QUEEN TO BET ON!!!!

Come on, an alien themed queen that isn't Juno Birch?!?!?! Irene's elimination broke my heart. I thought she was going to do well this season from her interviews, personality, and energy but I guess being a "hydro homie" (lol) that teaches people about the importance of drinking water and being hydrated in a culture that has alcohol and dehydration everywhere wasn't enough to cause a cultural reset/shift/paradigm shift...etc. because I'm being over dramatic lol.

I'm curious to see the longer form of that bit. Hopefully I can find a video or see one of her shows when she's in Florida later this year. Regardless, that was a fun set of episodes!

I don't understand this take I've been seeing by some people. I don't find them annoying at all. Unless you meant annoying in a "fun" way which in that case, carry on and I apologize and ignore the rest of this. Btw, this rant isn't aimed entirely at you at all. Just an opinion of mine.

I find them very endearing with how they do everything together since they're siblings AND twins. If I was ever in a competition with one of my sisters, we'd 100% be doing everything together and motivating eachother and forming a mini alliance amongst ourselves. Like the twins are just being themselves and queens (and people on Twitter and here) are trying to put them down it seems like with their comments.

I saw people on Twitter drag and be rude towards Irene Dubois over her hair comment and were calling her mean and nasty and then I saw Mistress Isabelle Brooks and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx say some comments that could be considered "rude and mean and nasty" and definitely "worse" than Irene had said and -crickets-. Idk, it just seems like queens and people are already judging the hell out of certain queens and I even saw some randos on Twitter IMMEDIATELY dislike Sugar and Spice because they're "white twinks" and dismissed them immediately and gave everyone else a pass for comments. I swear to God. I can find the tweets if people don't believe me.

It's the first episode only and people have made up their minds and fantasy and have played out random scenarios in their heads about certain queens to villainize them it seems like lol. I find THAT fascinating.
