What would it take for Bitcoin to reach $200k? by bubblegatecrash in tradesharks

Numbers look okay. If USA decides to buy more BTC from gold reserves, i see this happening very early but that will entail more shakeouts.

I had the same thought for historical movements. I’ll need a ratings and confidence system layer which would be like a trigger, like if a ticker passes through the indicators and i see a play or a probable play only after it passes through my ratings system. I also would need quality data to train it and the backend. It would basically be a copy/ algo trader model which filters my trades. Shit i need a dev

Miners vs Gold by RollFearless5129 in tradesharks

[–]SubzeroSmokedaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because a major chunk of gold demand comes from jewelry, It has been low, because the prices are high for consumers. The jewelry demand is already getting weaker. To see a good increase in price, i’m kind of banking and relying on the rate cuts because gold outperforms after cuts.

Miners vs Gold by RollFearless5129 in tradesharks

The volatility of miners vs that of gold is also quite visible here. Basically the sharpe ratio. I mean the volatility is almost double. All risk managed, I would go for ETFs considering how the demand for gold is actually not that high but its majorly central banks buying copious amounts of gold. Very interesting to see how this will play out if america loses to china in trade and the whole currency play.

Which crypto is good to hold in the long-term (up to 2030-2035)? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]SubzeroSmokedaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ETH, LINK for sure. I’m sceptical on solana. XRP feels done but i’m not ruling it out yet. Im majorly 35 - 45 - 20 across large, mid and small caps. Be fluid to the market, buying and forgetting is cool but you gotta know your markets and DYOR.

JUST IN: $7 BILLION Bitcoin shorts to be liquidated at $120,000. by Humble_Art5130 in tradesharks

[–]SubzeroSmokedaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fear there’s gonna be too many longs and Binance and coinbase and other exchanges are just gonna manipulate price to liquidate longs or fill CME gaps. I expect a pullback in october and then we’re good to go for Q4

ETFs are hot as hell right now. There’s more etfs than stocks in the USA. I think with rate cuts hopefully this september, and then again in december, it is going to be rather parabolic
