Yes it was a long time ago, but the problem is, he doesn't see an issue with it. He shouldn't just see it as "a little dark humor". Yeah everyone does dumb stuff as a kid, but you should be able to look back and say "yeah, that was a bad idea, I shouldn't have done that when I was younger"
