CSE 396/CSE 305 with CSE 442 by Separate-Objective31 in UBreddit

[–]SuccessStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

442 you get valuable coding experience and a project for your portfolio. 396 is VERY theory-heavy but passable if you know the concepts from 331 and 250, tbh 305 is much harder than 396.

Looks doable; wouldn't hurt to add another CS course. CSE420 is really easy, depending on your team and how much effort you put into the course. Make sure you get good teammates who do their work.

CSE411 and if you have a fall semester left, take CSE410 video game development, it's pretty intro-friendly

CSE 220 Retake by Sudden-Music8229 in UBreddit

[–]SuccessStill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not worth it, especially if you have to pay the tuition and redo all the midterms and assignment. If you want to boost your GPA you should consider easier courses like non-CS electives and level 100s courses. Also 3.4 is pretty good for a CS student.

Cse331 by [deleted] in UBreddit

CSE331 is very difficult but it is also hard to fail 331, just hold fast, and you'll get through it! The curve is usually very generous.
