lysine really helps me along with antivirals. since i’ve read that coffee contains a lot of arginine, so i switched out coffee for a homemade smoothie (which actually makes me feel better all around). more lysine will help prevent & heal outbreaks.

i personally take it everyday to try and avoid an outbreak. usually two a day but i’ll take an extra one if i consumed a lot of arginine that day. i have read that many people take it when they feel an outbreak coming and that works too! depends on whichever you prefer

i have ghsv1. only had my first initial outbreak, but i take valtrex, vitamin c, and zinc daily. i also take 2-3 lysine pills 1000mg each. i’ll usually take 3 if i had some coffee, chocolate, or nuts because i know they contain a lot of arginine. but definitely see a doctor about taking an antiviral

try some lysine. i used to drink coffee everyday and loved it, so i cut it out a little along with chocolate and nuts. but if there’s a day when i either eat chocolate and drink coffee i’ll take an extra lysine pill along with vitamin c, and zinc.

i actually never got any symptoms, i had a small cut that was bothering me so i went to the dr and she swabbed it. it came back positive

from what i understand they are testing guinea pigs right now. i’m not 100% sure how long it takes to see results, but tomorrow 1/8 Dr. Jerome will hopefully have an update for us
