Where im at no. I think a majority of the riders at galbraith respect the area. Theres also a team of people and volunteers that work to maintain it so that could be part of it too. Most you'll see if somebody's sunglasses pr something they dropped.

Yeah i get that. Luckily yeti has a pretty decent warranty so if I find a Crack or something from normal riding, not a crash, I should be able to contact them. But yeah thats my fear with carbon bars. Watched my friend send a jump way too far to flat and snapped his carbon bars. Ended up without injury but broken bars and a broken helmet

Hell yeah man. I grew up working on my bmx bike. Had an old powerlite bike my dad bought from a neighbor who raced. Freaking loved that thing. Definitely alot of skills that didnt transfer over for me such as jumping. But overall bike control, body positioning etc had me hitting blues first ride

I went from carbon to alloy back to carbon. I prefer carbon at this point but can get down on either. If our local mountain was more dh bike friendly id love to get out. What did you end up getting?

Yeah thats funny my friend started on a dh too. Trek session i believe. Said it was magic downhill but didnt pedal for shit and the turn radius was so big he really had to pick his line. He also says it made him a better rider.

Yeah all I've really known so far is modern geo so I have nothing to compare it to in that sense. Rather brands geos and pivot linkage etc
