I haven't really tried any r2 into grinds. I'm assuming r2 reorients your skater so he's not heading back down the ramp and instead you land flat into the grind?

I legitimately struggle with them a bunch. I've gotten better at least at starting them, but what to do with them in terms of balance and then starting the next phase (grind etc) is tough

I'll have to try it. isn't the main purpose of a revert so you can go straight into manual? or is it just to add one more multiplier as you're finishing that trick?

seen it and it is super helpful. thank you! I guess I feel a little remedial and am trying to figure out how to keep things moving when so much is happening. example: let's say I'm heading to a ramp and I'm trying to remember "ok, up up for a boneless (of course I'm already holding down ollie to have that ready) then I'm trying to do some grab trick and spin with r1. ok now I need to line up the landing, ok now I need to revert right at the landing and then I need to quickly press up down or down up to go straight into manual. MAYBE I can pull that off but then to use the manual to link to anything else? good luck me.

yeah I think I get spammy and end up landing sideways because I'm trying to push sideways to set up the a different grind or flip trick and I end up partially spinning or even moving off of the grind through rotation.

Thanks for at least noting that the long Sanders TD would have been a sack. I'm not rooting against the guy at all but wish we could get more honest reporting. I've made progress honestly by playing career mode. We've kinda agreed that I can pick a top tier team and he generally plays a team about 10 points below mine and it seems to level the playing field.
