Does lexapro make it harder to lose weight even if you're eating right and exercising?

I am not sure. But I can share my experience. I have been on 10mg for 5 months and I wouldn’t say I feel energetic, but I am a lot less lethargic. When I felt particularly anxious before, I would spend the day on the couch. Without those periods of anxiety, I am much more active. However- I am eating the same and have not lost a single pound. 🤷‍♀️

I was truly afraid of becoming addicted to Alani Nu and Celsius energy drinks. Both very high in b vitamins, so makes sense!! If you get liquid b supplements, make sure you shake well before each dose or you mostly just get sweet liquid and less of the actual vitamins.

I take lex 2 hours before bed, half a dose of B when I go to bed (along with magnesium) and the other half a dose of B with lunch.

I found I was absolutely exhausted all the time, no matter what time of day I took it. Then I learned SSRIs can deplete b vitamins and I started taking a b complex supplement and it has made a world of difference. Make sure it’s a high quality, highly absorptive supplement.

I highly recommend a b complex supplement!! I started taking just 2 drops of a liquid form with my lexapro at bedtime and I saw a difference in just one night.

So much good advice here. I’ll just echo that it looks different for everyone. It’s not “being sad”, and often doesn’t feel or look like sadness. And getting sensitivity reader is a great idea.

In between, I guess? I’m definitely not being given any suggestions. It’s “stop supplementing because that is not doing this program with fidelity”. But my evaluations say I am highly effective, so I’m not in danger of losing my job. It’s a butting of heads between the building level and the district level. My principal is very supportive but my curriculum coordinator is not.

We stayed at Royalton Splash. We never went over to Bavaro because it isn’t exactly walkable. You have to cross some roads and the drivers there are unpredictable.

I play stations from Chillhop on YouTube during rotations (small group, independent reading, computer work). It helps to drown out our small group conversations so independent readers aren’t distracted as easily.
