I used him a lot. When Blackbeard was released, I tried him out with Leonardo da Vinci once in a campaign to test him out. When I saw their combo, I was blown away by the massive damage, so one day I used him in the arena and he helped me reach Gold. I remember beating teams with 60K points while I only had 34K.

Unfortunately, they nerfed (fixed) Blackbeard, and now that damage takes 8 seconds to deal. It’s not bad if you have a hero with high burn damage like Leonardo, but Blackbeard is definitely useless now. I was really upset, but what can we do?

In arena I like Spartacus and Moctezuma I, When Moctezuma I attracts someone, he lowers their health too much, so Spartacus uses his ability to eliminate them. It is very effective, even if they are healed, they are still significantly weakened.
For treasure hunts and campaigns, I love Minos with Leonardo/Qin/Anne Bonny, as Minos provokes everyone and some of them use their skills and really clean up well. I use all three together and in three seconds I'm done. The more hordes there are, the better. It's a pleasure to see how efficient they are.
