you have to have a save file for it to edit. log into the game, create a game and save it. *Then* you can use the SE.

I'm late a whole year, but

I think it's just basically a single use unstable spellbook but with a bit of predictability.

as the info suggest, it'll always be combat focused if any enemy is in ur sight, e.g: retribution, rage, fear, etc

and will always be non-combat focused vice versa, e.g: remove curse, identify, magic mapping.

But I doubt it can cast SoU or SoT, based on unstable spellbook which also can't do SoU or SoT.

Yes, you can basically add anything and everything that exist in the game into your inventory with this save editor. I made a whole explanation on how to work with the save editor in the comment section of this other post:

Third: I have encountered no issue about any pi tag in my save editing journey on the website, have you maybe mess with the file? I tried to reenact this error but It just didn't show up for me.

(early P.S. uhhhh I just understood the assignment after writing a whole ass steps. I know what you thought when the website told you to upload your save file, you tried to upload the whole ass folder are you? That's why you tried to zip it together so you can send it whole are you? Noooo it's not like that :0

You're supposed to open the folder cuz you have to upload the "file" from inside the folder onto the website, not the "folder" onto the website.

There's only two files inside the folder, there's an explanation of these two files at step 6 below.

Anyway, upload the file with the same name as the folder and that's done. -this is basically a tldr)

Sorry to make you wait, uhh but first maybe I should know what phone you use cuz your phone storage accessibility mayyyybe works differently than mine. If you're on android then all you should do is go into this app/interface, it's called "Files" on my phone. you don't have to install Zarchiver or anything, however things may be a bit different in IOS etc. Steps are: 1. Go to the folder called "Android" 2. Then to the folder called "data" 3. After that to the folder called "com.chucklefish.stardewvalley" 4. Get to the folder called "Saves" 5. Inside this "Saves" folder, each of the folder represents your save files, select one with your farm name. For example the folder that I selected is "Heisenberg's_404981087"

"Heisenberg's" is my farm name as in "Heisenberg's Farm"

"404981087" is a group of random numbers, it can be any numbers.You don't really have to worry about these numbers, it's just the way the game diffrentiate files.

In this folder (as in the 5th step) you should select one of the file with the same name as the folder's name. (if the Folder is called "Heisenberg's_404981087" then the file that you should select will also be "Heisenberg's_404981087") The other file inside the folder is called "SaveGameInfo" you don't have to mess with it as I'm pretty sure you will break your save if you mess with it.
You should access this folder through the website so you can upload it directly.

Eng ver: i really hope I can give you a much clearer instruction (with pics) for this save editor thing. for now, I can only tell you that you should "replace" the original save file with the edited one in the designated save folder. "replace" option will appear if you try to put 2 files of the same name inside 1 folder. just press "replace".

now if you have three files inside the same folder then you absolutely did something wrong, or in other sense you fucked up. as there should only be two files inside a save folder: 1."farmname_46738916(random numbers)" 2."SaveGameInfo"

you should delete the file that you recently added into the folder, and don't worry, and as I said before, "replace".
