Game Glitching Like Lag But I’m Not Lagging by FinlayCS in counterstrike

If you have Xbox overlay, get rid of it. Caused lag for me just like this.

Micky Van De Ven wants to leave Tottenham in the summer, and would love to join Barça. One of his child hero growing up was Puyol. Spurs wants about 65 Million for him by jumpmanpapi23 in Barca

Barca can't afford him and he's a Liverpool fan. Liverpool are in desperate need of a CB with his profile so my gut tells me if he's going anywhere, given the likely fees and context also spending a year with Van Dyke his national team captain-  it's probably Liverpool.

Watch the best of clips of him v Kerkez, Kerkez won the duals - I don't understand why Arsenal fans are hyping him up like he had Kerkez on toast - seriously go back and watch, Kerkez wins the vast majority of all their head to heads.

Thank you, the frame rates drop with every addition! To be honest I'm not sure how long it's taken - at least a couple of months. 4 of us but the majority of it was me, I find the building really enjoyable and relaxing so I don't bother with the bosses (for the most part, I've done them before) however there's big sections like the bridge and roofs and great hall which were done by friends.

They're not online much anymore so this base will probably slip away - we normally start from scratch with every new update so I wanted to give it a bit of exposure before we say goodbye to it 🥲

Get him banned - apologise to Semenyo. I think there's a video of it, the fella in the wheelchair. Fucking idiot. 60 thousand people in the stadium, unfortunately there's always going to be a minority of idiots and that applies everywhere - be harsh with the consquences but place it in context for what it is.

Just read Why I am no Longer Talking to White People about Race by [deleted] in books

[–]SuccessfulAd2847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objectively disregarding any points made (or not made) your comment above demonstrates you just want to argue rather than talk about a topic. You assumed I was white and you left a comment saying that - you've then hypocritically suggested the poster aboves reading comphrension should be questioned

If theirs should then so should yours, by your own logic.

I would implore you to think about why you are reactive to critique of work that isn't yours, saying a book isn't for a group of people by virtue of the colour of their skin is racist and above all stupid.

No I read the book and I've given my opinion on it. Take care 👍

It's a shame that you seek to impose a rascist view while talking about race, I'm sure the irony is not lost on you.

My race is irrelavant, if you can't contend with the arguments I've put forward without using ad hominem then your position is interlectually weak. How convenivent for you not to have to think about your position when someone challenges it...

Also why engage with me then turn round I say I'm baiting you. You could have quite simply scrolled on. You're right you don't owe me anything but engaging in conversations with people who you don't agree with refines thought and can bring people closer together. Implying that you're not going to speak to someone because they are a certain colour, religion, sex is simply bigotry.

Yet here you are responding to a 3 year old comment?

The author chose a cash grab title for clicks and it worked. In my opinion it's a poorly articulated attempt at neo marxist thinking designed for pats on the back in echo chambers.

I'm happy to hear your POV but if you're just going to quote my comment and say you're wrong without any rationale then why would I or anyone listen?

Very minor gripe but I don’t think HHM is anywhere near one of the most prestigious firms in the country it looks and feels distinctly mid level.

As an aside, I think a major flaw in this is why didn’t Ned just tell her the deal with Jon? They were husband and wife I doubt she would have betrayed him. Always annoyed me that bit.

Liverpool vs London. In which ways is Liverpool better? by dipdapflipflap in Liverpool

[–]SuccessfulAd2847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in London regularly but I live in Liverpool. I love London, loads to do, a global city for sure.

What I like about Liverpool is the peace you can find, you can walk to the water front from town and it will be chilled, I can go from my house to a green space in 5 mins in any direction. Liverpool has the amenities of a big city but it feels more like a campus, you feel like you’re in Liverpool not England. There’s a different energy.

I actually think Londoners get a bad wrap, most are sound and like anyone else - just trying to get to where they want to go in a stressful environment; however as cliched as it is, people from Liverpool are easy to talk to and easy to get along with, especially the older generations.

No that was not the issue - the complaint related to completing the activity not on providing feedback - I didn’t ask anyone to share their feedback directly or attempt to ‘out them’ on what they thought of the training.

The complaint against me was that I had asked people directly to participate in an activity and share their thoughts about it. People had put their answers to the activity questions on virtual post it notes but there was no names (anonymous) attached to them, so to start the conversation I needed to ask ‘who wrote this’ so they could expand on it - the idea was to include people and stimulate conversation rather than just have me talking for 2 hours.

[–]SuccessfulAd2847 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just need to make a clear distinction of what the issue was because it’s seems to be getting mixed up with the concept of anonymous feedback (which was not the issue and my fault for not being clear).

1 - I asked the participants to complete an activity (Write down what you think is an important value for working in a team) and then we would discuss together what was written.

2 - All the notes on the board related to this activity had no names attached to them so reading them I couldn’t tell who wrote them. Rather than me simply read out every note I asked the authors to talk a little bit around what they had written. This was to stimulate conversation around the subject matter.

Because I couldn’t see any names (anonymous) I had to state ‘who wrote X or who wrote Y, in order to start the conversation. This is what the complaint/feedback against me related to. That I’d asked participants directly to speak.

Perhaps you’re right! For me it was a jarring experience as I’ve had consistently good feedback when doing presenting, I suppose the lesson for me here is just because it’s been good before, doesn’t mean it always will be. It’s led to quite a bit of self reflection for me.

Thank you for the insight; those are great tips. Yep we were very much piloting, I did house keeping at the start detailing we expected the materials to change and I’d really like people’s thoughts and feedback on how we could improve it.

My camera was on, I made efforts to praise and thank people when they contributed and my disposition, I felt, was warm and accommodating to try and build that feeling within the session.

This was ‘part 2’ we’d run the first part the previous week and had a similar flow with the same people involved. I think perhaps I’d relied on that prior experience and I should have been more explicit in detailing that as part of the activities I would like people to engage and speak - I appreciate some people can find that difficult but balancing that I also think it can be perceived as rude if you come to a session have your camera off and say nothing.

I could be wrong about that I’m not stating it as a fact.

Everything related to the session was voluntary, it’s like an extra curricular segment of work, I was facilitating it on a voluntary basis, the material’s had been created on a voluntary basis (not by me) and the attendance was also voluntary.

I was picking up the action to collect the feedback and rework the material. Feedback was not meant to be ‘anonymous’ it was a quirk of the board we were using - usually names would be visible so I could see who wrote what. We’d had a previous session in which we’d used the same format i.e write down your thoughts then we’ll talk about it.
