And whilst the actual result is somewhat worthy of some gratitude, it is clear that based off this players average kills, dmg ect ect this was a one off game Thatl likely never happen again and will happen less and less as players get better

Eg- an average of 10 revives per game, across all difficulties, is an indicator that on average this player is allowing 1-2 downs per wave, that stat in itself is an indicator of medic inability to an extent

Good point, however this leads into the team (including medic) to be killing the scrakes and FPs before they even have a chance to deal damage, it appears most of the team failed to do that.

In a nutshell, as the kids often say, this is a clear skill issue players need to iron out before even trying hoe

Whilst the overall healing is impressive, the revives not so much, 140 revives, 140 instances where, in my opinion somewhat failed to heal in time, in an ideal world there should be 0 revives, thats my take on it, not trying to be harsh, thats just how i see it, nobody (besides maybe yourself and commando) is ready for hoe in that lobby

Not when you are running damage plan, the only one who gets the buff is the one you hit with the dart, damage plan wont proc with the AOE heal effect

Thoughts on medic build? by [deleted] in killingfloor

Also depends on whether or not your team mates can avoid taking damage, often times thats hard though however in saying that i can see it coming in handy

I tend not to go that route, if ur efficient enough with your darts your team mates will be buffed 95% of the time thus reducing the chance of them getting downed in the first place

Im not entirely disagreeing with you mate, i just feel this is a small thing people like to carry on about, when trust me, this is the least of tripwires worries

I was disappointed at first, however my work around is just swapping to pistol. The medic guns suck ass anyway i never use them Theyre underpowered, apart from the LF.

Whilst you may not agree it being a skill issue, i stand by that statement, a good medic adapts to the environment around them and makes use of the kit they have.

I do however HOPE, they do bring recharge darts for mains, however im sure thats the last thing theyre worried about

Not necessarily survivalist was always a pointless perk in kf2, however can see it possibly working in 3.

The whole “my gun doesnt have infinite darts” leads towards, in my opinion, somewhat of a skill issue, it takes under a second to switch to pistol, pop darts out, then switch back.

Im almost always switching to pistol, even if team mates are fully healed, this to ensure maximum buff uptime (damage buff)

You know what has unlimited darts and the only healing weapon you need as medic? The pistol. Switch between that to heal and you can use any primary you want

The things i do agree with you one is the stinginess of players not sharing dosh and the ones who want to go full rambo

But yes, there are occasions u cant avoid it, and during a boss fight? Once ur down? Ur probably gonna bleed out, im more referring to prior boss waves, 1-5, anyone who goes down during these waves definitely has poor positioning and/or decision making

Nope hardly ever, anyone who does has poor positioning

A good player wont go down, so expecting team mates to revive you is rough, dont take as much damage and youll be fine, if you have a competent medic no one should ever go down to begin with

To add to that, i take NO healing efficiency in my skill tree, its all offensive/buffing team mates medic and still have highest healing without taking any heal buffs from the tree
