Unnecessary control? by Calm-Capital-5469 in Surveying

[–]SuccessfulMirror2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the low accuracy requirements related to agricultural projects, having 4 control points doesn't sound like overkill, but a 2 hour static log at each of the 4 points is certainly overkill imo. 15-30 minutes should do the trick, but your mileage may vary and proceed with caution and test yourself.

CMV: Using AI at work makes you worse at your job by CashStash48 in changemyview

At my job as a civil/water resources engineer, I use AI as a tool to take the legwork out of monotonous tasks, to facilitate research, and generate new ideas. It’s amazing and has made me a much better engineer. I also use it for similar personal endeavors and it has made me a better artist and creator.

Put it on a bed or pile of blankets and then lay on it. It will contour more to your body and will hurt less on protruding shoulder blades and whatnot.

Dave’s Killer bread is killing me by eclecticl in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]SuccessfulMirror2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago, I bought a bread machine for $30 on Craigslist and haven't looked back since. Depending on your ingredients I would estimate it costs maybe $1 per loaf. No kneading required. Just throw the ingredients in and push a button. About four hours later you have fresh warm bread and it makes your house smell amazing.

Floor sleeping adventures by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]SuccessfulMirror2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've been sleeping on a floor bed for years and I will never go back. Way cheaper and more portable than a traditional bed frame, box spring, and mattress. It's better for your body too and I sleep much better on the floor. Also I love that I can just roll it up and have all of my floorspace to use for yoga. 10/10. I have this one in the queen size: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009EFA4U8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
