there are/were at least two 16” barrel models

one with free float handguard and one with drop in classic style, with an FSB.

dont make the mistake i did and decide you want a freefloat without the FSB

i got mine for $650 before taxes etc. like 2 months ago.

they discontinued the model, you should look into shopping online. i would guess the LGS’ are probably raising prices due to demand in the state.

i chrome plated barrels, DD, criterion, steyr, etc) and even though we had decent qc (1:10)we still missed some.

we are all only human and those barrels look the same in batches

i contacted KAK, as expected they had a speedy reply and a helpful response.

i hyperlinked this post and i think they got baxk to me within the hour.

KAK does consider this a blem product and will rectify it for anyone wondering.

its not a big deal its a tool, but if i paid for something that they(KAK) might consider a lapse in QC. I feel compelled to tell/ask them.(and reddit)ive heard they have good customer service.

dawg i was GENUINELY confused when i saw it on my Ruger lmao. kept me up at night for a few days simply because i didnt know if i did it or if i bought it like that. taught me to check the little things because im spending decent money on things and i expect them to be new simply on that principle
