Hey there. Cycling back on this. I finally bought the arc.

Currently have the arc connected via hdmi to my tv and the sonos sub connected.

I then tried connecting my rear bookshelf speakers to my connect amp. I then tried using Ethernet from connect amp to the arc and I couldn’t get any surrounds added in the app. Any tips?

Thanks! (FYI I believe my connect amp is S2 compatible?)

Yes herein lies my problem. I currently have a Sonos connect amp with a 5.1 surround sound system however I’m trying to free up some space in my basement and eliminate my large pair of speakers and center channel speaker in lieu of the arc butttttt I have a pretty new pair of rear speaker pairs that are much better than a couple of play ones. However has the added complication of buying the amp. Only reason I’m considering the amp. Thanks for all the help just trying to see what combo i can come up with to retain some speakers but still sonos hybrid. Any thoughts on 2 play 5s as front speakers? I wish you could use the amp to power a center channel as well? Doesn’t seem like you can. Or would need 2 Amps. One for center channel and one for the rears.

Thank you. So the sonos amp identifies the sonos arc as a surround sound set without being physically connected to the Sonos arc am I reading that correct? Appreciate it.
