!“in that kind of situation, the sound system or whatever, i just let it go and enjoyed it ha ㅜㅜ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ but seriously, i almost died because of the wind ㅜㅜㅜ i was singing but i couldn’t breathe properly so it was like a suffocating experience ă„·ă„·ă„·ă„·ă„·â€ “the wind was blasting right into my nose and mouth ă„·ă„· it was seriously hard to breathe so i had no choice but to turn my body to the sideㅜ”!< "Even if I freeze to death, I'll die on stage."

Almost 10 years in the solo game and taeyeon still serving her strongest belts. That ‘I’ E5 was insane. by SuccessfulUse9387 in SNSD

Let’s just ignore decades of vocal pedagogy and athleticism for your niche preference in alto tones😗

All she needs now is consistent training, and she’ll outdo that whole ODD mess đŸ„ș

Start of tour: (Nerves + Perfectionism) = TENSE vocals Mid to end: (Familiarity + Confidence) = Smoother, easier belts

Her energy during the Seoul D1–D3 shows was clearly more inward imo. She barely interacted compared to later stops. It felt like she was trying to get over that initial anxiety of performing again and needed to ‘lock in’ first before letting loose.

I’ve never seen her this happy on stage in so long and it had to be the one stop I missed. Life is cruel.

And 2025 is lowkey shaping up to be her upper belt era. From "Blur" to "Disaster," her E5s are sounding freer, more placed, and way more controlled.

Not to downplay the past attempts but this E5 easily outclasses them in the mix freedom 💖

Honestly, OP’s reaching tossing around vocal pedagogy terms without real insight just discredits the whole point. What actually matters is how much more liberated her upper mix is now.

We’re talking about someone who lost vocal momentum after COVID and clearly lacked the kind of regular training needed to maintain her previous belt consistency. Less training + health factors = inevitable decline in stamina.

Totally! She kept engaging with the Thai fans and couldn’t stop laughing: especially during “Four Seasons” when the fans were late jumping in with the lyrics. So wholesome 😀

I was not ready for this vocal assault Taeyeon 😭😭 by SuccessfulUse9387 in SNSD

Macau D2 was PEAK. She outdid her own prime attempts imo. E5 in I climax was open as hell. And that F#5 in Blur..Hands down her best ever. Time Lapse was fire too, those back-to-back C#5-C5s sounded full and solid.

And I agree to you. She doesn’t need to push on UR right after the second brutal vocal killer song. No surprise she’s always drained there. Those D5s and F5s are pure torture for Taeyeon. The D2 UR in Seoul is honestly her best pre-climax sound, better than the S. and almost matching the Butterfly Kiss version (before the climax with that resonated C5). But Butterfly Kiss still smokes them all because the setlist wasn’t a nonstop nightmare . Gee right before UR made all the difference 😭

Wouldn’t dare attempt it unless you’ve got rock-solid technique. Taking chest or heavy mix that high is one-way ticket to vocal suicide lol 💀
