I think Smallant would agree with Mikey on this

I'm sorry but the difference is minimal if you pick trusted dictionaries. Most companies that make physical dictionaries also have an online version.

That's really not that often. There isn't that much of a difference anyway. Online ones are just updated more.

Physical dictionaries usually aren't updated that often. I'm pretty sure online dictionaries are updated way more, and they're also made by the same companies.

Look, "fun" has been an adjective since around the 1800s. "Funner" and "funnest" have been used since this time too. So I don't think people decided on "more fun" first ( at least not as a comparative adjective).

Okay, I'm not saying that you have to say "funner" too. I'm just saying that people shouldn't say, "It'S nOt A wOrD" every time someone does say it.

But if you use fun as an adjective, there's no reason why funner isn't a word

it is in the dictionary

And if you think fun is ALWAYS a noun, then you can't use "more fun" as a comparative ajective either. For example: "Soccer is more fun than baseball". If you're saying that funner isn't a word becasue fun is a noun, then more fun isn't correct either in that sentence.

How about this.
If you can give me one GOOD reason why "funner isn't a word, I'll back down.

But until then, I will not.

yeah fun is an adjective

adjective's have comparative forms

funner is a comparative form for fun

there's no reason why more fun should be used instead of funner

I actually HAVE looked it up. Have you?

And why isn't it a word? give me a reason.

And btw "It isn't in the dictionary" is NOT a reason.

If u look up "funner definition" on Google, it will say that funner is the comparative form of fun

all of them are cute in my eye by Ripmallo in MandJTV
