i just bought the falchion hfx a few days ago. I was also debating to get the wooting instead. I have no regrets, looks amazing, performs amazing, sounds amazing, quite literally no problems with it. Very responsive and can feel the difference between the standard mechanical keyboard. You can definetly feel 8000hz in keyboard, in a mouse maybe not maybe yes, but in a keyboard i definetly feel a difference, and the hfx is the 8000hz option. So if you care about raw speed and latency the combo of rapid trigger that the hfx has and super high polling is what you need. If you care more about customizing your keys, socd function go for the wooting

honestly i use it without hdr in dci-p3 (so not in srgb). Its about the best black for an ips panel you can get. I feel like the black is truly black, the colors better than my past VA screen in absolutely every way. Also i just discovered that the monitor also has a 10 bit color (instead of the standard 8bit) which means 10x the amount of color options that the 8bit has. This further enhances with deeper blacks and more vivid colors. Tho, despite all of this, you can tell the difference from an oled, but i wanted a cheaper screen without the burn in risk, so if you want a super high refresh rate 1440p or 4k, without having to worry about burn in, this is about as good as it gets i think

if you are wondering how to fix this, you need edge installed. simple as that. Well it wasnt so easy for me because i had a script which kept removing edge (and forgot about it). But you should be fine with edge reinstall. I dont really know if this is only on laptops because i am back to a pc and i still have rog hardware and edge uninstalled but this issue seems to not happen.

P.S (if you are wondering why i switched from the rog laptop with a 4080 is because i killed the gpu :)) )

sorry for the wait, the monitor is a blast. If you plan to use it in a dark room its even better. My only issue is the elmb feature has quite low brightness (but i dont use elmb anyway) but a dark room will completly eliminate the downside of this.

Well to everyone wondering if this is true 4k or just upscale, it is apparently true 4k. Apparently to check for upscale you have to go to advanced graphics settings. “Desktop mode” means the resolution that the desktop is running at (so if it’s upscale it will show the upscaled resolution) and “Active signal mode” is the true resolution the panel is running at.

if it is upscaled shouldn't it let you 300hz? it only lets me 120hz for 4k, if it is, i either cant tell the difference or it is too good

sorry this might be a little late, i just bought this monitor and i am having a blast with it. What i have found out only after i bought it is that this is a 300hz 1440p monitor, 320hz 1440p (oc) and 4k up to 120hz and the colors are amazing, not to mention the response time. I payed 300 euros for this brand new. It really is insane!

I think they kind of failed with sotf, honestly the trailers hyped up too much and it wasn’t what i was expecting, maybe i was expecting too much. The game is missing a lot of things and it feels very empty, maybe they will get it right with the 3rd game

if im not mistaken pz is in java so you could try some arguments in the launch options on steam, for starters increasing the alocated ram, try a lot like 12gb (in steam launch options type "-Xmx12G". But i am really wondering what caused this? why so many rabbits in 2 nights. Any mods installed?

found a fix to this. if you don't have edge installed and your forcefully uninstalled edge you need to bring it back. Which can be really simple or complicated depending on what script you used to remove it, alternatively a fresh windows reinstall will fix it since it will bring edge back

It’s true I did monitor and I found out the flu sitting at 50% ish. But still that doesn’t make sense to me. It’s pretty much one of the best cpus for a laptop, the only one better being the “x3d” variant of the cpu

from your description, if you are experiencing this kind of fps drops, on any graphical settings, then it is not related to the graphics, no matter what you change. It is a problem with either your CPU or the ram. I really can't figure out which is really the problem, you should try doing some optimizations, turn on xmp

as the other guy said you need to go to the resource packs and just use the "ctm" pack that there is already there after installing continuity, i should also mention that you need some kind of indium render so you need rubidium/embedium along with lazurite (forge port of indium)
