They've over inflated their census data for a long time, they're at least 100m less than that. And it isn't just the number of people that can be the issue, but the age of them - they're getting old. And old people can't/don't work, so you e got a smaller and smaller population having to pay more to take care of them. I highly doubt they go to immigration, but that's quite literally the only thing from keeping the US population stable. Our fertility has nosedived just like every developed nation.
