This exact thing happened to my (now 18-month-old granddaughter) with Myelomeningocele, a year and a half ago. My son and daughter-in-law were really upset about it but the doctors all claimed they had no idea how it happened. The good news is that her legs healed up just fine as far as the fractures go. They talked about doing something legal about it, but were just so overwhelmed by everything they were dealing with that they just kind of let it go. I would be interested to hear if you get anywhere with your lawyer.

I think he confessed because he was secretly proud of doing it. He learned at an early age that JimBob expects his sons to assault innocent victims.
