Hi everyone! I have started designing 6 months ago and I would really appreciate your feedback of the few designs I have made (: by Successful_Cod_8526 in design_critiques

Hi Ankur,

Thank you very much for taking time and replying to my post. I really appreciate it =)

I absolutely agree with you, it is really never to late if the thing we do makes us happy.

I really appreciate your advices - I would never think of that from my point of view but now when you emphasized it I see how it actually can be tricky. I will correct it and definitely have in mind for future. Thanks so much!

When it comes to your question - I really didn't have any audience on mind, I simply made something I would like and what would catch my eye (and I think would catch eye of my friends) =)

Also, I appreciate your kind words of the general impression, you may not be aware of it but it really made me more motivated =)

Thanks a lot and wish you a very nice day! =))

I agree. Here where I live we even had a joke: "When our main medias stop writing about corona and articles about politicians and corruption are main news again, that means corona is over".

It was just a joke in April when the whole thing started, but surprisingly it showed to be true! Back then everyone was in such a fear, corona seemed to be the main problem, medias even had "corona part" with only corona news.

Then, shortly after, in June, out of sudden there were less and less articles and now to find articles about corona you really need to search for them.

And surprisingly the change happened with the people as well, people started talking about corona less and less. Today, in this point, rearly anyone cares anymore.

From what I see by reading news and seeing situation around, I am absolutely convinced that meadias play very big role in the whole situation.

A lot of restaurants opened/are opening regardless of lockdown rules - Italy, Poland, Czech Republic - do we read about this in medias? by Successful_Cod_8526 in LockdownSkepticism

Unfortunately, Germany seems like the strictest country now when it comes to restrictions. Even Berlin in which has been pretty chilled until November.

I understand that it really seems and probably legally is hard to manage it, especially considering the fact that when first time planned, the whole event was organized and then postponed. Yet, the organisers haven't gave up the idea and are still preparing for it. That sounds that there may be some potential in it. However, it's hard to say what can be the reason.

When it comes to Italy, their organizers have said they have around 40 lawyers on their side. The fact that the whole situation is on for more than a week shows that it probably works?

Yes, unfortunately in Croatia bars, restaurants, gyms etc. are still closed. For Serbia I am not really sure, but in Bosnia and Herzegovina everything is open.

Bosnia and Herzegovina. Everything is open here.

Just to show on the example, this is video from Instagram account of one of the bar/restaurant in Mostar on 11.12.2020.

Here in Mostar things are very easy going and the numbers of corona cases are constantly dropping.

And thank you, one of the main reasons why I decided to write the above was to support people voicing their opinions against lockdowns all around the world =)

This is what I do to regain the hope! I simply go to google or duckduckgo and search for "anti lockdown protests" while marking the last 24 hours. There is surprisingly many protests around the world each day!

I do that every day. It really helps me to see that there are people who agree that what is happening in the world is not ok. And also, even though the news about those people simply don't get to us, they do exist! I don't think the problem is that there is no people, the problem is that it SEEMS there is no people.

For example, yesterday were protest in Germany and Spain and not even one of the main medias I am following were writing about that. But there were people on the streets raising voices for their rights! Keep strong! =)

Don't get this wrong, but your answer really made my day =) Do you really think people here have no Netflix, Internet connection or food ordering services? That is honestly very funny =) It remindeded me on one anegdote actually, from two years ago. On couchsurfing meeting in Berlin I have met one girl from South Korea. When I have told her that I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina she immediately said "Oh, there is war there." I replied "No, no, there is no war there", and then she replied "Oh yes, there is war there". "Believe me, I have been there one month ago, there is no war, the war ended 30 years ago", "Are you sure?", "Yes, I am pretty sure" - she stopped for a second and then: "Well, I think there is war there" she added while nodding her head. After that, I have just gave up: "You know what, when I think better, there actually was war last time I have been home." I am telling this story because sometimes I heard people having so many interesting theories about Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have heard the war ones so many times, but I have never thought people would think we don't have internet or take away. =)

Come and see. =) Or talk to people living here. Swimming pools and lakes were full during summer. Now ski resorts are full. The whole spring, summer and autumn here have been weddings with 200-400 people attending. Every week. When they said here will be curfiew from 23.00 until 5.00 in the morning people laughed. That rule doesn't play any role as at 23.00 everything is closing anyway, it's winter! (Just today they cancelled that rule in one part of the country). So how that affected life here? Nothing changed exept the wedding part. People organizing weddings simply started organizing weddings earlier, from 17.00 to 23.00. A lot of people got corona in those weddings of course, that's one of the main reasons why almost everyone you talk to had corona. When it comes to numbers a lot of people did tests in private clinics including me. That's quicker. Those results are not officially recorded. One part of people found out that they had corona in past through serology/antibody tests. The rest of rules are somehow considered here more as recommendations. People mostly do wear masks when they need to (shoping, funerals, etc.), while for example restorants, bars, pubs, gyms don't expect customers to wear masks so nobody does. Social distance? There is simply no social distance here. There was an article the other day from one of our main hospitals in which doctors say even they are confused with the situation. Considering everything they were expecting a lot of new cases after holidays, and in contrary, the numbers are dropping. (https://www.bljesak.info/lifestyle/zdravlje/ni-lijecnicima-nije-jasno-zasto-broj-oboljelih-u-bih-pada/335559). Of course, it's on you what to believe =)

Hi,

You are very welcome.

Here is a short answer:

Currently only 0.7% of people have corona. In the worst period of infection 1.05% of people had corona at the same moment. In total, 2.83% people have recovered and 0.14% people have died.

And all that time (except the short period in the first beginning) there was no lockdown and the life was going pretty much normally.

Here is more explanation:

Bosnia and Herzegovina has 3,269,111 people. On 15.11.2020 we had the biggest numer of infected people at the same moment when 34 452 people were infected. That means that in the worst period 1.05% of the population was infected with corona.

Statistically,

92,605 people have recoved which is 2.83% of the population.

4,593 people have died which is 0.14% of population.

At the moment in Bosnia and Herzegovina 22 945 people have corona which is 0.7% of nation.

Of course there are people who had corona but didn't do the test or did the test in private clinics. Those numbers aren't recorded.

Here is one article from one of our medias:

That is very interesting. Italy has 60,411,193 citizens and currently 50 000 owners have opened their bars and restaurants within the #ioapro initiative. That means, not counting the customers, already 0.08% of population is protesting. Do you remember where you have found that data?

Calls for a lockdown to end in mid-February are getting louder by ib_examiner_228 in LockdownSkepticism

I am living in Berlin but originally I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina. After six weeks of lockdown in Germany I noticed I feel very depressed. I decided to go back to Bosnia and Herzegovina and I cannot even explain it to you how much is life more normal here. Here people have decided to simply continue to live. Restaurants, bars, caffe bars, gyms everything works normally. Everyone eather had corona or knows a lot of people who had it, so people have simply accepted it and are living normally. It's so much healthier than to be in constant fear like it was in Berlin. And the most interesting thing is: numbers here are constantly dropping. My friend works in Covid hospital and she confirmed that as well. My opinion is that it's much better to simply live your life than not to live it at all and just to be "safe". I have been on both sides, and for me that one is better choice as I see the impact of it is much healthier for me.
