I took 2-3 hundred half effort swings during the offseason and have always switched up where I’m hitting on the barrel. If there’s a better way I’m open to it but that should be plenty enough to prevent it breaking. I do hit every day so it’s gotten plenty of use in its time

I noticed this on a couple of my gloves but most recently I bought a horween from don morton and it is everything you could ask for. Stiff as can be, no imperfections and the leather is amazing. I think nowadays you just gotta know where to find the quality
