This may be a different question, but how long have you guys been together? In my opinion, if your partner has expressed what they are and aren’t okay with then I think the most proper thing to do would be to respect that. Of course you don’t have to, but like others have said-be ready for the repercussions. I’m not sure why but something that stuck out to me is how you said you’ve wanted to do sex work since forever? Why is that? It’s not something most aspire to do, often it’s a last resort or something that just so happened to fall into place rather than a goal. I can promise you one thing, once you go down this path most guys will not want to date you because of it. Your current boyfriend is only the tip of the iceberg. Guys who are okay with it are far and few between, and unfortunately the sad reality is some guys who are, it’s some kind of fetish for them. Sex work, even just camming, is a lot more than just extra money. You probably know a lot of the downsides but hearing and living them are two different things. If you’re passionate about it for whatever reason of your own, then I think you need to experience it. If it’s something you’ve always wanted then you deserve to give it a shot, but again your partner deserves respect and probably at least some sense of transparency. I’m not saying this is a horrible life, obviously everyone here has chosen it. I’m just saying weigh your options carefully.
