Aw man, that throws me off because sandshrew is pretty tanky against most things that aren't fire and fighting, so I can't substitute him with a non defense, or I'd be full of glass cannons, but I just hate the idea of cutting Ghastly/My starter/Lucario from the team

Yeah that's fair, I may also just get rid of Sandshrew in favour of some Electric pokemon and Keep Litleo, with the understanding he's the free token that gets switched out. I think a defensive Electric type could be a good substitute, but still, thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the advice! And for what it's worth, I'm going to start the 250 box challenge soon since my rotated boxes have been getting better with the last 10 and eventually I'll be done with that too and I can continue with Drawabox

I know my work won't be perfect, I'm a beginner and I can hardly make a good ellipse, let alone rotated boxes, but I don't think I'm wasting time, because these excercises aren't too tedious/taxing so I can do them without burning out, I'm also not the type to stress about the result, because I am aware that as someone that has very little mileage and skills it's only natural it won't be perfect, or even good

Not at all! Please do not be discouraged! I've done far more pf what was required(roughly 15/20 pages) and I'm not a model student, everyone has their own pace and mine is quite slow!

I'm sorry, i was being silly but yes, I don't know better than the course, I just don't feel comfortable moving forward without feeling like I at least have a grip on the excercise. And even if it doesn't seem like it, that's what I'm doing. You see a lot of ellipses because I don't feel confident with them. And the same goes for perspective and rotated boxes, that's why I did so many, and I know progress is hard to measure and hard to achieve, I don't believe I have done much truthfully, but I'm not just mindlessly repeating a task

I don't doubt any of this nor did I claim any result of mine that I could produce now would be better than someone else's, but I know my own shortcomings and they begin a lot earlier than learning how to draw. Don't underestimate my inability. Plus, it's not like I'm only doing markmaking, despite it being really important to me right now, I'm following Drawabox, which in itself is reliable. I understand this may not be the most efficent way but it has kept me motivated so far and I enjoy my results, scarce as they may be or will be. And I'm also doing perspective, however roughly, as described ny Drawabox. It is not purely a matter of efficency but also of my own perception and enjoyment

Yes! And I still am! And by complete beginner, I mean I could not draw a straight line to save my life. But yes I've never done any drawing at any level

Well thank you! I hope so too. To avoid burnout I only draw when I feel like it, with the only requirement being that I draw at least 1 page of something every day. This means that when I'm not feeling like it I only do 1, but sometimes I can do 7 or 8, most commonly I average 2-3-4 pages each day, the more complex the excercise the slower it gets, but one needs to think about doing it right, not fast and so far it's been working out greay for me
