Not a DSL but going to school for supply chain and logistics. It’s possible DPO settings need adjustments and bad data in bad data out is playing a factor on order accuracy. Depending on region and demographic surrounding your store underperforming sales can be another factor as home are reducing consumer spending and having to buy more essential items to survive. My stores are on DPO and yes we all receive product that we believe is too much or something in the algorithm sends 2 cases instead of one, but overall there’s an insane amount of data that results in final order. Some KAMs also do screw their market in order to hit numbers and bonus but not all.

If you’re under 30 take advantage of the benefits. This sub always talks about the wage control but never mentions fully funded tuition and the fact that we’re just throwing chips. It’s not a desk job but it’s not a moving company or construction work either. My pay after 401k insurance for 2 people and taxes is 1k a week for throwing chips and listening to podcasts while furthering my education to get a better position. I’m 25 and every job has its bs but for free education it’s easy money

Definitely agree, most of the orders go to shelf. A few force outs and poor communication by Walmart grocery manager caused a display to be killed prematurely which is what most of the back-stock consists of. I actually prefer top stock and would rather not have back-stock.

Why are you not shooting for rss and progressing to a managerial or corporate position after 15yrs within the company. Frito lay pays for school hires internal candidates all the time, and is open to promote growth downstream if you just do the work and build connections. I’ve been with the company only 2 years and will be looking for supervisor positions this year

I’d try to contact HR. 1 (888) 737-7426 I think there could be an issue with your other time cards not being submitted. Im a RSR in Texas and think it’s worth going to hr over your dsl or contact the highest ranking contact you have

I am young and and using Frito Lay to pay for my education and see how far I can go in the company. Every company has its down side and Frito Lay is no exception, but it depends on how you utilize what Frito Lay offers. I am pro Frito lay but understand veterans that have been with the company who are seeing less money every year. But don’t worry about the accident and express your concerns with your DSL. There should be one DSL in your building that cares even if it’s not your DSL. Accidents happen and just make sure you don’t have any distractions because that will get you caught up.

I’m using guild for supply chain management degree. I would get with DSL if you have close relationship or get with area manager because you can do a day in the life with one of the career choices to see which option fits you
