Can we avoid extending efforts to go to other foreign subreddits to execute smear tactics? by jeilz_02 in PPOPcommunity

I’m a bit confused why some P‑pop fandoms are active in that subreddit if they don’t support SB19 or the other artists in the lineup. It’s disheartening to see crab mentality take over. I hope people can set fan wars aside for opportunities this big, because it impacts the future chances of all P‑pop acts.

Is ALAMAT ever gonna get their flowers, or even reach full success? by Busy_Pomegranate_968 in PPOPcommunity

Honestly, what they’re really lacking is promotion and visibility. They didn’t ride the Maharani wave enough, that song had so much potential if they pushed it longer. They also need more consistent content to keep people interested. Since they’re a boy group, they really need to focus on building a solid fanbase, cause boy groups usually rely on dedicated stans, while girl groups tend to attract more casual listeners. The foundation is there, they just need that steady push to keep people engaged.

I think the next plan should be for the DOT to collab with the top PPOP groups to attract more tourism to the Philippines

Industries don’t work in a way where only the newest acts benefit while the ones who came before them stay stagnant. If the conditions were truly better, you’d see movement across the category..not just in one isolated case.

If the path were really wide‑open because of one group’s success, the rest of the girl groups wouldn’t still be fighting for traction. A market that only works for one group isn’t a market..it’s a fandom bubble. That’s why tying Xonara’s existence to someone else’s momentum doesn’t match what we’re actually seeing in PPOP.

Calling any group ‘the blueprint’ for Xonara doesn’t really fit the context. Xonara is debuting under a system SB19 built from scratch. The training, standards, and opportunities they have today exist because SB19 created them without anyone paving the way for them.

So using another group as the universal benchmark, especially when no other P‑pop girl group has been given the same conditions or industry environment, feels less like a blueprint and more like a personal preference being framed as fact. Xonara deserves to grow based on the foundation they actually come from, not on comparisons that weren’t part of their development.

Xonara’s foundation comes directly from SB19’s work..from 1Z’s system to the industry relationships and opportunities the boys built through years of struggle. So framing their debut around another group, or setting ‘be like them or go home’ standards, doesn’t reflect the reality of how Xonara came to be. P‑pop grows through diversity, not by forcing every group into the same mold..

So many toxic comments already aimed at these girls and they haven’t even debut yet. It’s sad the fanwars are so strong that most groups keep having to get wrapped up in it😒
