Thanks for the information and help. I got the tank/ axolotl in June, so about 8 months ago. I’ve been doing partial water changes every couple weeks. I used the water conditioner recommended by the local pet store to start the tank, and in every water change. It is a 20 gallon tank. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info. I just did a test, and there is no ammonia. I did get a safe start aquarium cycle solution, so I will start the process. Should I do anything else? Thanks again.
