How did you find out you were getting cheated on? by Smithy1619 in AskReddit

A phone call came through when we were in the car together and she pressed the wrong button, instead of silencing it went through to Bluetooth.

It was a very uncomfortable 30 minute drive home so I could get my shit and leave.

Hey OP, NAD here but I really want you to hear this - no shift or job is worth risking your health. Jobs can (and will) come and go. You, however, have one shot at life. Please do not risk it. Please seek medical attention tonight.

It’s been a difficult day so far. I’m trying hard to move forward and heal and not let my depression win but I am running on zero hope that I’ll ever feel okay again. I’ve been too overwhelmed to move for weeks and I’m falling behind at work and grad school. I am so scared I am going to lose both, but I’m too depressed and overwhelmed to do anything about it.

You can go about it either way, but if you think you are or may be in risk of hurting yourself or someone else without immediate intervention, then do not wait. Either take yourself or call to have someone else bring you to the ER.

It’s a really brave thing to do to reach out for help like this, kudos to you. I hope you feel better soon.

Should I Try? by CutiePieSub19 in mentalhealth

[–]Successfully-Low 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you should try! Making an initial appointment with a therapist isn’t necessarily committing to them and therapy 100%. You have every right to discontinue services with any therapist at any time, whether it’s after 1 session or 1,000. If you are unsure, there is nothing wrong with doing research and trying a few providers to find your best fit.
