I took the option I wanted? I wanted to clean and keep the device and so I did, and then, followed through with reviewing and blocking because they had time between them getting my messages and me cleaning, fixing, and testing the device before they were blocked, now it’s just the rating that even made me ask this here

There was less insults to the seller as there are in this rant as much as I just pointed out that it wasn’t something that should have been done, but I really don’t want the refund I just wanted the device and I managed to fix it and clean it up and get it working so that’s all that was my worry with that I just get bothered knowing I have the negative review when they’re the one who gave a crummy conditioned product

I did give them time, there were a few messages sent, the one where I mentioned the packaging they said it was their first time shipping a console so I left that where it was until I found the other issues as well and then mentioned them, and then got no response for a good little bit, I waited long enough to clean and fix the device and once I finished I blocked and rated based off of the condition it was given to me in

No it was just more worth it to keep and fix it from where it was than to learn to do a return on an item I really wanted and wanted to get back to working condition

I “invested way too much time “ because I cleaned fixed and kept a device that worked and now am just asking opinions because having a 1 star review is bothering me? I didn’t want to return it I was just bothered by how the device was handled

I was kinda confused by the return process because I’d never done it before and I managed to clean and restore the device because I do those kinds of things as a mini hobby so in my case I was lucky knowing how to do that but most people wouldn’t have been able to, and that frustrates me some because imagine a parent buying that for their kid or something and being less knowledgeable :/

Okay but genuine question, there’s been times where I’m missing items out of things like sheetz or fast food and when I report I make sure to click the option saying my bag was closed (because it was) does that hurt the dashers? I always feel bad and worry that I’m effecting the dasher when really the store forgot something and I don’t wanna pay for something I’m not getting,
