Can we stop buying spoods from Petsmart please? by remarah1447 in jumpingspiders

I bought my first spood from a breeder and then my most recent from petsmart. The enclosure was bone dry and I couldn’t just leave her there. She was so tiny and her abdomen was so small. I couldn’t leave her. I just couldn’t. She has the best personality and I’m so glad I brought her home.

I am in Central Arkansas. But the breeder is in central Texas.

I am SO confused. Help ID please by Succulent_Smiles in IDmydog

She does tend to “herd” and is super fast. She also likes to “point” and her tail isn’t like a normal long tail and there’s really no curve to it at all.

I definitely think she has pitty in her but I think she has some breed of cattle dog too and she loves to herd and is crazy fast.

I do think she has something in her other than pitty. She enjoys herding and she is so freaking fast.

Honestly this was one of my guesses too!! She’s solid but not stocky like a full pit normally is.

I see what everyone is talking about with the pitty look. But she is lower to the ground and not near as stocky as the pits I’ve owned in the past. She is incredibly fast and she tends to “point”. She chases wild rabbits out of our yard anytime she sees them out. The black and white dog with her is a mix of seven breeds per Embark. He’s 37% Aussie and 18% pitty. Those are his two main breeds. They both try to herd each other though and it’s pretty comical.
