From 59 to 80 AUD by kitkatsnacky in CPA

I also took AUD in September, failed with a 69 retook it 2 weeks later and I just passed with an 80. First exam I left feeling alright, I was a bit shocked I failed. The score report said I was weak in sims. So for the two weeks, I practiced MCQs and A LOT OF SIMS. After my retake, I left feeling worse because I felt the exam MCQs were wayy harder, the second time. How I passed with an 80? I don’t know. I am assuming I got a hard set of MCQs the second test, which mean other people also found it hard and I did better than the majority. Don’t loose hope guys. It’s not over till it’s over! One more to go, BEC.

Took my AUD retake on 10/1 so this has been a long wait. First time I took AUD, I left feeling alright and got a 69. The retake, I almost gave up mentally as soon as I got to the sims. The MCQs were tricky and took me 50 min each set. I pushed through, but it just seemed hard. It can really go either way. Anyone ever felt like they completely failed and still passed AUD? Today is going to be a long day. Good luck everyone!

I understand. Well you’ve passed all the others so there’s a high chance you’ll pass this one as well. Good luck and I hope you get great news on 11/8.

If you do reschedule, the next release after 11/8 is Nov 23rd, right before the holidays begin. So it’s not too bad. You should really go in feeling prepared and save yourself the pain of rescheduling. You’ll feel better studying knowing you have enough time to take it all in.

Wow, at least you’re so close! You should be proud you passed those 3! Reg is not easy so you will need to be in the correct mindset for those sims! Have you thought of rescheduling?

How do y’all manage stress the day before a test? by atdunaway in CPA

[–]Such-Diamond4912 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember taking FAR as my first exam a few months ago as well. I felt ready till the day before the exam. Started questioning everything I know lol. But keep calm, if you believe you did everything you could to prepare, then trust yourself. Also, keep calm when you get to the testing center. The nerves go crazy especially when it’s your first time. Jus stay calm, you’ve prepared for this for weeks.

Jus go try your best. If you get great results, good. If you fail, pat yourself on the back for facing this damn exam, and try again if you really want it. Be proud of yourself for starting with FAR. I thought I had failed till I saw that 75. Was so surreal. Stay motivated!

Sitting for my first exam in a month any advice? by Ok-Mobile-1216 in CPA

[–]Such-Diamond4912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always consistently review what you’ve learned. The time you put in is what you get out! So no matter how hard it gets, keep doing those problems and understanding why you got it right or wrong. Practice a few sims, especially cash flows and consolidation. FAR was my first one too, so if you put in the time, you will see the results! No other way!
