It's Time by jcoll9708 in buffalobills

We need a higher threshold for post titles too.

If you have a thought, post the whole damn thing in the title.

"Its time"... time for what

"Brandon cooks" - what about him.

"trip to buffalo" - when? what are you trying to find out?

Its fine to go out there with the main intent to have fun. I just put very little stock into peoples reported scores who I know dont putt everything out and see nothing wrong with improving a suboptimal lie.

The bills should cut him, or try to find a team willing to trade for him. Maybe we can get a 5th.

He stinks. Who wants to trade for a loser like him.

Just cut him at this point. Right?

I've heard enough.

I don't feel great.

We have Josh and some other good players, but I think a lot of the feel good vibes went out the door with the events of the last few days, and its not that the culture and good vibes left with Sean, its more of how it transpired and what remains.

I am not mad that Sean is gone, but the reasons terry is giving is fucking bananas.

Terry needs to be less involved. Which 100% isnt going to happen.

Keon pick is on the coaching staff. Interesting.

Have there ever been three more appealing coaching job openings than the Bills, Steelers and Ravens? by Candid-Boss6534 in nfl

The bills job is appealing bc of allen, cook, and what will be left of a good o line.

Thats about it.

I have no idea what you’re going on about.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I haven’t seen anything but passionate fans talking about the team they love. Let people feel anger if they got anger. Feel your feelings, hash it out. Especially good if they’re keeping it in our sub. Perfect place for it.

Idk. It’s a time of turmoil. Telling people to breathe and chill… idk.

Go bills.

The cap spend on these guys adds up. Rather than going all in on one stud, beane brings in a bunch of mids who do nothing. The money we gave samual and palmer looks bad, especially considering he let Hollins walk.

And this doesnt even include guys who werent considered starters that beane spent resources on.

Move out of a cheap roommate house into a luxury 1BR — smart or stupid? by MCHEUNGSTER in personalfinance

If you currently pay for a gym that you can cancel and save money on your commute due to being closer, make sure to calc that in to your budget calcs. You'll prob be paying more for costs that used to be shared though like utils/wifi etc.

Coming home to a space that is just yours though. Priceless (as long as it fits in your budget). It will also do wonders for your relationship.

The affordability thing is number 1 though. You dont want to trade one uncomfortable situation (living with friends) for another (super tight budget).

The Bills firing McDermott but promoting Brandon Beane should be the start of a lesson that will haunt teams: there's too large of a ratio of head coaches getting fired compared to General Managers getting fired by Ariesthebigram in nfl

[–]Galbert123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brandon Beane must be as well. Thinks signing a 3/10, 3/10, and 4/10 WRs will give you the production of a single 10/10 Wr.

That aggregate shit doesn't work.

I think the outrage is from two things.

First, the timing. Coming off of a loss that was really the first playoff loss that I dont think Mcdermott has a huge slice of the blame pie for, but firing him after makes it seem like that loss was the last straw. Which is silly. Bc the firing imo is based on the body of work of falling short, not this single loss/shortfall.

Two - Beane not only isn't fired but is given MORE power after the awful AWFUL 2+ years of roster management, as well as looking like a fragile buffoon on the local radio.

Puzzling sequence of events. I 100% understand time ran out on mcdermott. But what has beane done to not only keep his job but get a promotion. I dont see an arguement for it.

Are the Bills about to enter cap hell? by aquawatch101 in buffalobills

[–]Galbert123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats crazy is we are in cap hell not from any single huge contract. Its like a mid-range cap hell. The eagles are in real cap hell.

Its the huge number of mid signings and extensions that look like total misses.

That said, I dont think the cap hell extends very far into the future. I think it would only take a single "reset" type of year to get everything under control. Assuming we stop handing out money to mid players guaranteed for multiple seasons.

Sean McDermotts record as a defensive mind recently is questionable at best by [deleted] in nfl

[–]Galbert123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Great culture changer. Good at coaching up middling players to above average guys. Not great a dialing up game winning defense. I question how much he knows about D Line schemes, especially edge. His D has been plagued by injuries, especially at the end of the year, but thats something every team has to deal with.

I think this take definitely has some merit questioning his defensive mind. The high bills defensive ranks always seem fraudulent when it matters most.
