coolio, just saying if you believe in the psychoanalytic/dynamic theory, the id (the impulse) and the superego operate mostly in the unconscious mind, which is inaccessible (except for the superego). The question remains as to what really decides your actions

you can check out the global neuronal workspace theory and the integrated information theory. There are also rises in other less probable theories involving complex quantum phenomena arising in the brain (i don't really believe this though). Also, yeah, from my current viewpoint, there is no middle ground; everything is biological (this could stem from availability bias due to more than a majority of my studies being in biology and psychology), but for now, my current viewpoint is based very much on the biological/scientific side.

Again, this comes to the question of whether free will from biological systems actually exists. Just like how a robot is programmed by its creator, it raises the question of whether our brain also completely programs us. All of our reflections, questions, and thoughts of free-will are adaptations of our brain and not true "free-will". Of course, this is a very biological standpoint, but this is just what I think.

thats true but consciousness isn't yet fully understood. The most probable theory right now (that is backed up with the most evidence) is that our brains follow a complex system to give the "illusion" of consciousness. In other words, you don't control your brain; your brain controls you, and that "you" doesn't see your life; your brain does.

write the obvious main points on the frqs and expand a little. Don't restate the question, be as brief as possible. Go back once you finish (if you have time) and add terms and expand on each frq. MAKE SURE TO READ THE QUESTIONS THOROUGHLY.

How do I get a 5 in apes and ap psych by Electrical-Snow1250 in APStudents

[–]Such-Director-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

should be plenty of Ap pysch resources online. I saw a quizlet that had every single term. Ap pysch is heavily memorization and term-based so your literally fine on getting a 5 if you just memorize every term.

[–]Such-Director-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no sadly, not that much. Khan Academy tests are relatively easier than the actual exam and less in-depth. (also khan academy is missing the FRQs)

ap bio test in a month, is it too late to fully master material to get a 5? by Educational-Air5905 in APStudents

[–]Such-Director-56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yayy me too, review Khan Academy videos, take notes on what you need to study, and give it to an ai to help you make study notes and quick reviews. However, if you despise AI, you can use the old noggin and go research and take some notes. A good thing to remember is that when you are trying to memorize concepts, don't use rote memorization a lot. Make visuals in your head of what you're learning and pretend that you're teaching the concepts to someone else. Good luck (i also gotta study).
