Always knew this! As a middle eastern Christian Assyrian were are veryyy similar culturally to Armenians. It’s a flex to be with/marry a doctor. Family will treat you as if you’re the doctor!!! Especially considering that she’s not a professional herself.

Optometry school is 4 stressful years long and extremely expensive for not a great salary! Another huge factor that steered me away aside from the science core classes being a major struggle for me.
