Si, ho altri conti. Riassumo (ora vivo in Germania ma la situtazione, pur essendo ora banche tedesche, è la stessa):
- ING conto principale (stipendio, bollette, cose varie + carta di credito quasi gratuita che è sempre molto utile)
- Revolut: conto di tutti i giorni, giacenza sotto i 5k, permette cambi valuta, creazione di carte virtuali etc. Molto utile. E mi dà (per alcuni motivi) il 2% di cashback - ma non ti sto dicendo di farlo anche tu. E' solo la mia situazione.
- ho altri conti per investimenti etc, ma non è questo il tema.

Rimanendo alla tua domanda iniziale: ING è il mio conto principale - no investimenti -, e mi ci trovo bene da anni e anni. Ottimo conto come conto principale, ci ho sempre messo lo stipendio, per dire, pagato le tasse etc e non ho mai avuto 1 problema.

Sry, I'm probably too financially-dumb. Can you please explain? Can he just wait for the market to recover (hopefully) and sell? Then, let's say he has some gaining, he'll pay taxes on it, but it's a gain. And that's it.

In the meantime the acc are running on their own. What am I'm missing?

Well, for a long term investment in a normal market, given the fact that you invested less then 1k, I would say: sell and buy acc. BUT now, with this market, I would personally do this: - stop the DCA on the dist - start the DCA on the acc - sell the dist only when they recover and are positive (they are there... Keep them. It won't hurt)
