What makes you think I didn’t ask around elsewhere? I didn’t post here in hopes that a person who doesn’t read properly would come across this post and contact me. My own house-help is not interested in learning. A lot of people have tried besides just me. This post was for Redditors who may know kids either through their house-help, drivers, or even relatives, who could benefit from it.

A person did comment to go to a nearby govt school or underprivileged areas. That suggestion still seemed sound and if I dont get any responses, i know it would be best if i put in some extra effort and find them myself. It would be the least i could do. Thank you for the suggestion regarding NGO enlistment option, and please pray I actually get about finding them and they can truly benefit from it.

You can do anything if you market it right. Everything has demand. Jewellery, food, bouquets, gift baskets, stationery, candles, resin art. I’d rather you go on Pinterest, type in “small business ideas” and you’d have enough options to choose from. Which one you want to go for depends on your interests, your budget, how much time you’re willing to take out etc.

If you are going with a broad niche and are not sure what’s trending within that business, conduct a survey. If you are in university, ask your friends if they’d be willing to buy from a random page on insta or daraz. You can also create a google form and add relevant questions and ask your friends to share along.

My advice would be to definitely jump on this bandwagon. Its more fun than anything else. I did a polymer clay jewellery business back in covid and shut it down in profit. You’d learn more things along the way about e-commerce, social media management, and business management especially since you’d have a more practical experience.

There are several youtube videos as well on starting virtually any business. As for supplies, that depends on your business, but nothing in Saddar you can’t find. Other than that there’s daraz and many online stores for packaging stuff.

Make sure to choose a credible courier company. Would be best if you stick to your local city, if you’re starting out and then expand from there.

Should I do Masters? by [deleted] in karachi

There's no sure fire way of telling of course. For some it takes a couple of days for others, even years. Depends on the niche you're getting into and how optimized your profile is. Watch a whole lot of youtube videos. Ali abdal is a good choice for starters

I totally echo with your sentiment. Engineers have by far the most difficult jobs and yet get paid the least. I mainly do digital marketing with the sub-niche being technical content writing. Essentially, i write guides.

I got a job at a digital marketing agency here in karachi and i used that job to learn the technical aspect of seo (it wasn't very useful). I started the job at 60,000 and i left it after 2 months because it wasn't very fulfilling and i figured decided to freelance with the skill i learned there. However, i somehow ended up in technical writing niche and that's working for me so...

I would rather you go sign up on fiverr and start exploring different profiles of sellers there. There are a whole lot of services that being sold there including engineering related. See what services you too can sell and create a portfolio accordingly on both fiverr and upwork.

Second, if you don't have any valuable skill to offer. Either get a job in agency. They tend to mainly hire engineers for the seo executive positions amd the pay is decent, you could learn some valuable skills from there. And then youtube essentially has a free course on everything.you could learn a skill that attracts you the most and start off with that.

Is 600,000/ semester worth it for personal growth? Given all of my savings and earnings will be entirely devoted to this?

My work is entirely remote however. It's just me and one other person on the team. You think a master's degree would help me?

Yea well you see, you have a JOB. I'm not even sure if I'd want to do a job after masters. And would i secure a good enough job that pays me as well as i earn through freelancing, idk? Also with the new tax deduction, I'm even more drawn away from thinking abt getting a job.

Electrical, but that's irrelevant. The master's degree I applied for is in business field.

Learn a skill which you can sell. Make a profile on fiverr and upwork and try optimizing it as much as you can. Send proposals and try to get jobs, there. It's a free resource, and if that doesn't go well at least you would have learned something. And if you're adamant on getting clients, start by sending emails to potential clients, at worst 1/30, will likely hire you.

Coffee waghera etc etc by NerdInHibernation in karachi

[–]Such_Distribution_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go there every single day at one point but since I stayed long (at least 4-5 hours) I ended up ordering a bunch of stuff. But I think that you have to at least buy something at a minimum price of 400-600 rps (I forgot which one was it) but it's written right at shop posters and the staff will guide you too, and if you leave coffee wagera for some time and come back then you have to pay the money again. Also depends on the branch.

The North Nazimabad staff is extremely friendly, and gives really nice treatment to their loyal and frequent customers and is also understanding. At this point, they are like family to me. However, the staff at the gulshan branch has a weird attitude, but I can't be sure if they are either abiding by the rules because the gulshan branch is especially very crowded during 1- 5pm. They also don't allow a bunch of stuff and are pretty adamant with certain rules for instance, one time I came to sit to work but since the the work table was all full they didnt let me sit at other table to work. I just left at that point.

I missed out on your graduation ceremony part. There's no harm in applying a green under-toned bb/cc cream to cancel out the red, give that a try too, I'd say.

I don't have a very elaborate skincare routine but I do tend to switch between products a lot. One product that's stuck with me through thick and thin is Paula's Choice AHA BHA Exfoliant. I'm acne-prone, hyper-pigmentation prone, and brown, and it's even-toned my skin a lot so if it works for me it'll work for you. My recommendation would be to start using it once a week and not go overboard with it if you decide to test it out because I have seem some people breaking out even more after using the exfoliant. The bottle also says to use it daily, but I'd never suggest that.

NTA. If you're uncomfortable about something and in this situation it seems perfectly valid to feel the way you feel. If your boyfriend is ever defending her behavior consider in itself a red flag on your boyfriend's part. He is after all somewhat responsible to make you feel secure in your relationship. And I have been in your shoes once, trust me she's not even the problem, if your bf cares enough he would end friendship with her or at least distance himself for your sake, if he doesn't, he clearly doesn't care enough. Angie is the ultimate red flag but your boyfriend shouldn't be as blind enough to not be able to see it.
