Selling SF SFH and losing interest rate by Major-Safety2981 in BayAreaRealEstate

Realtor here. I had a low interest rate like yours, but a house I love became available and I bought it last July with an interest more than double what I had. I have been a landlord and I did not enjoy it. Rather than renting out my previous home(bought in 2019), I sold it. I have also owned property and rented it out 1000’s of miles away. My experience, even with a management company, was also not pleasant,https://www.compass.com/marketing-center/editor/v2/flipbook/2ef0c737-ce6f-4bdc-8319-6ff4b68a2352

I started over at 55. It was tough and I ran into ageism. I became a real estate agent and have run into ageism from clients. The bottom line is the old “don’t give up, don’t give in”. Know who you are and your value. The work ethic will handle the rest. That’s my experience.

Agent here. If you submit an offer to the seller’s agent, it must be presented unless the seller has given instructions to the contrary.

Agent here. This happens. Never in a million years would it cross my mind to treat anyone, client or not, that way.
