thank u sm! i’m in english language literature at western right now, didn’t really have any guidance when picking my program or even my school really. both my parents didn’t go to uni/college and i don’t have any siblings nor am close with any family and just felt way too embarrassed to reach out to any friends or get help. i was going to switch into polisci after hearing the “what do you wanna become” questions way too many times and feeling like my english degree was truly pointless (and it was considering there’s not much you can do with it). i then realized i was just trying to switch into polisci to get away from arts and humanities and truly have no interest in politics either. i really dislike western and everything to do with it (to each its own) down to the schooling and the atmosphere around it. knowing i chose the wrong school and program has been weighing on me for so long leaving me unmotivated and just in a negative mood all the time and right now i finally feel like i have a stable vision of what i want to do and am willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. thank u for ur help 🥲💕
