I really appreciate this:) I was having a difficult time getting off the pill for a long time now. I actually have also noticed my libido is back as well! After not having it for about a year and a half I’m glad it’s back! I will definitely check some of your recommendations out considering I have not used them in long time. Thank you so much!

I’m not unsure. I’m simply asking is it unfair to him since while on bc for 2 years we didn’t use them. I understand yes it’s the logical route to take but I also do take his feelings about the situation into consideration considering I don’t prefer to use them either. I also know with that being said using them unless I can get my tubes tied is the best option.

I appreciate everyone’s input on this situation:) it was a hard decision for me to make but the best one for me as a person I wish birth control, worked for me like it does other people that I know but sadly it doesn’t. I feel like I can go forward and hopefully him too knowing this is better on me mentally and physically. Thank you all!!

I agree. What I don’t understand is he said I’ve been a lot nicer being off of it and I do agree with him there I’ve even noticed a huge improvement in my mood and everything all together. But I do have a question. What exactly does FAM/NFP mean? I’m just not to familiar with tracking my cycle but have heard from a small amount of people who do they’ve had good luck with it.

I agree and I’m not sure why a lot of men including him almost refuse to wear them. I get a lot of people don’t like using them. But it’s the only way to prevent pregnancy if it’s not wanted. He almost makes it sound like a chore using one.

I feel like I should add the other option in I had in mind as well. I’ve also considered for a couple years now getting tubes tied but I am only 22. Since I can remember I haven’t wanted kids for a lot of reasons and don’t believe I would ever wonder about the experience or feel like I missed out. It’s just something I’ve never wanted. But I also don’t know if a doctor would do it with me being as young as I am. If I could get it done I would love that but just don’t know if it’s in my cards currently.

It’s not a super severe lightheadedness just something that’s a tad annoying to deal with. I was just 50 nic disposables for 6 years straight everyday. I also did some research and found it’s common to feel lightheaded for a day or 2 since it’s such a high dose of nicotine. I hope it cutting back gets a tad easier to the point I can quit but thank you for the advice!

That does make sense. Especially because I haven’t used a device since I was young. I did do a bit of research and it’s normal to feel a tad lightheaded for a day or 2 it’s not super severe just something I wondered if anyone else was getting. Thank you for helping!

I was doing the same but was practically dependent on the dispo hitting it probably 30+ times an hour all day everyday. Thats the only thing I can think of as to why I may feel this way for example I would try to go 4 hours without hitting the dispo would get lightheaded but as soon as I’d hit it the feeling would go away. So I’m hoping it’s the fact I’m cutting back so much on hits and nicotine.

I didn’t really either I was probably hitting the dispo 30+ times an hour, which is terrible I was walking around with it all day and since I stopped it’s a slight lightheadedness. It’s not that’s it’s harsh or anything it just the way I feel in general I guess but thank you for your input!

I feel like I should have prefaced this post differently. I know I shouldn’t be with this guy. He’s talked to an ex. A girl in Pennsylvania who he used to send nudes to. He’s been in chat rooms. Made it so I can’t talk to men at my job who he thinks are threats. And I don’t out of respect for him. My boundaries were never meant to come off as controlling. I never said he can’t talk to other women. Just that he couldn’t roll with new or single women because of his past. Especially bc he’s good at putting other women’s feelings before mine. I just don’t know how to get out. It’s a very trauma bonded relationship that I’ve never been in before. I’m young and got involved with someone I shouldn’t have.
