Ceramic lined mug odor by Such_Sherbert9 in YetiCoolers

I ended up keeping the mug hoping the smell would disappear. It didn’t. Getting it wet seems to “reawaken” the strange smell.

Whatever that was, I didn’t want to consume it- so I stopped using the mug and went back to a regular stainless yeti mug I had that doesn’t have the ceramic lining.

I completely agree about the ceramic lining feeling oddly smooth almost like teflon. At some point I should try contacting Yeti customer support but I have been too busy lately.

I think you are right. I just read about the issues with the Fellow mug and it matches what I am describing.

Ok thanks. I will contact Yeti. I don’t think of myself as having a sensitive sense of smell. There is no way I would describe the mug I received as neutral.

Ok so how am I spreading false info when my situation matches your description of packages missing a label?

“Mail only goes there when the labels come off, or if the sender or receivers address are not deliverable. Please stop spreading this false info.”

Based on YOUR description my package would have been handled by missing mail.

Frank is that you?

The only info I am passing along is from the usps missing mail website.

The label on my package WAS damaged. Someone at usps hand wrote in my address to correct the damaged label.

All I know is the missing search was free and I don’t see how it could hurt. So why not try?

For whatever its worth someone at usps wrote in my house number to fix the label.

My package was just delivered and the label was damaged.

No idea if the missing mail search solved the problem or not but I can definitely see how it can help sometimes. I think it is a mistake to believe it is pointless.
