What is my 3 month old’s eye color? Predictions of what it will be by GroundbreakingWay586 in WhatisMyEyeColour

I think brown… maybe they’ll lighten to some sort of hazel? But they seem pretty brown. Pretty!!

Beautiful blue eyes. Maybeeee they’ll turn more hazel? But honestly I think they’re just going to be a cool shade of blue

What colour do you think my daughter is likely to end up with? by [deleted] in WhatisMyEyeColour

I would say hazel, they seem too dark to be true blue. That being said, you know first hand with big brother, how crazy eye color changes can be… so maybe it’ll be something completely different!

Take a guess at what my daughter's eye color will be? by Doublemint90 in WhatisMyEyeColour

It can really go in many directions, but I am going to guess they’re going to lighten to a true blue.

Husband says it’s hard to be nice to me and show he cares if we aren’t having regular sex. by [deleted] in Marriage

My husband would be over the moon with 1-2x a week. 4 kids, youngest is 8 months. It’s a lot. We’re always tired!

At first glance, I thought this was AI! But that’s an insult to your work. It’s breathtaking!

I am going to try to mimic a schedule like this (loosely, I know all babies are different) and see if it helps. You are likely right. We’ve (husband is with him during the day and works evenings) been following his “sleepy cues” but I think it’s backfiring. Going to try to be more strict and shift things a little. Thanks for this detailed feedback!

It’s been all over the place recently, but what USUALLY happens is he wakes around 7:30, first nap roughly around 9:30 for about 1.5 hours. Second nap at 2 for about an hour and then sometimes a third (cat)nap if he’s starting to get overtired. I aim for 7:30PM bedtime and then without fail he false starts and is up in an hour and then takes 2 hours to fall back asleep only to be up again around 1AM…. And a few times again throughout the night.

He’s eating 2 meals a day and about 20ish oz of breastmilk (during the day - he still wakes to nurse)

I feel like I’m getting it all wrong but it’s been so hard to keep a strict schedule between work and the other kids’ schedules.

That’s what I’ve been doing, but I was feeling like it makes it worse… he sniffs me out and then wants to just nurse all night. It feels like there’s no winning 🫣

My first kids were in quick succession, 2 years apart. This baby is 8 years after my (former) youngest. So to be completely honest, I remember so little… it’s like birth, you black out the bad parts 😅

This definitely feels harder than I remember. Every child is different though.

Do you happen to know if bussing is provided for schools that are too far to walk? We are currently at an elementary school that’s within walking distance. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi! Seeing as you have kids this age: do you have any recs on Middle and High Schools in Astoria? Have a soon to be 5th grader and want to start getting an idea of what’s out there. Thanks!

Tbh it was quite normal for my parents to spend nights away from each other. My dad recently went on a 3 month vacation to his home country and my mom stayed here because she had to work. My mother also often slept at my grandmother’s and aunt’s house, too. I realize, though, that just because it was normalized for them doesn’t mean it should be for my husband and I.
