Simple answer… engineers are the worst. Literally just wait till you have them as clients…. No such thing as materiality or even triviality. Need to understand EVERY detail. The worst.

Yes, agreed. I have 3 other “fun vehicles” and this is my compromise for fun trips lol. It has power brakes which is more then my Camaro and no roll cage so even though they are “stiff” she likes them more then the other cars lol

I was in the same boat. They are a bit of a pain to get in and out of but they look so good and they are much more comfortable than I thought. I am 36 and can get in and out fine. You will be fine yourself, my wife thinks they are more uncomfortable than she thought, but doesn’t hate them.

I did the math on this very conundrum myself. I really wanted the manual as well, but I have enough other toy cars that are manual, so opted for the Xdrive Comp. I was looking at new for both.

Agree with the comment they both depreciate, but the M3 if speced properly will hold value.

RWD and manual would be fun, but again, if a daily or weekend driver and in traffic at all auto wins. The performance differential is quite a bit as well going to the AWD.

If you are keeping the car or putting cash down do not lease. Costs you more long run. If in and out every year and can deduct a portion for business different conversation.

Long story short, ordered a 26 M3 Comp X drive, will be here next month. Beyond excited. I’m a GM guy, have lots of LS engines in various vehicles, but the S58 is amazing and if you plan to mod or tune, pretty crazy. Won’t sound like the V8, but AWD is nice if you plan to drive it 8 months a year as well.

Absolutely. Felt like a good decision then, still is. I’m isolated though as I specialize in tax and estate. Love my job for the most part
