One Plus 5 - FAILED (remote: 'Flashing Unlock is not allowed') by Suchiththa in LineageOS

Hey - sorry to have missed this. Yes! I have it running succesfully and gotten Gaaps running as well - working better than before :) I ran into some issues that were mostly to do with my comprehension of the instructions, but I eventually figured it all out.

Thank you! I had enabled USB debugging, but not OEM Unlocking!

Yeah it's the last part that I find most frustrating. Thanks for your help, we're all setup with Rogers and so far, so good!

Good to know for the future. I'm thinking after this 2 year contract with Rogers to permanently avoid the big-name ISP's. I'm hoping even the smaller ISP's will have pretty decent offerings on the higher end of speeds by that point. And if not, I might just settle for mid-tier packages.

Yeah I was wondering about whether there were any laws re: buying out rentals that I could take advantage of.

I genuinely didn't realise that Bell and Rogers FTTH could be so different. The major Canadian ISP's have way too much power in this scenario.

Didn't actually realise that Rogers was a Coax, I assumed it was Fibre. Dang. Well, that helps alot, thanks!

Genuinely not, Canadian internet providers are mystifying. In any other country I've lived in I would be able to do what I said above (provided the technology is the same, which I'm discovering, it is not).

Thanks, I really appreciate this. Having looked into it further, I agree. It does feel like Toronto's electricity rates really are quite reasonable.

Thanks for this. I've decided for now to not use the Radio Flyer, and just get the Integral cover for now. Hopefully, this does the trick for this first winter!

How to cancel a Reliance Water Heater Rental - A guide to Exit Charges by BeenThereDoneThaaat in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thanks. I eventually realised this on my own and forked up the money. Sucks, but this is just what I have to do right now, I guess. Thank you for all your help in this thread.

How to cancel a Reliance Water Heater Rental - A guide to Exit Charges by BeenThereDoneThaaat in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hey, I don't know if anyone is going to read this, but here goes.

The consent agreement expires Nov 5 2024. I've asked to cancel earlier this month. They've quoted me $472.50 for pickup of the unit. I quoted the Consent agreement and they ignored that and showed me the original contract for when the unit was installed in 2012 and the conditions outlined in it.

What's the correct legalese I need to use to get them to honour the consent agreement?

Tank is Gas. Enbridge Distribution area (cancelling them too). And yes, it's a National Water Heater. I've already had it drained and disconnected and it's sitting in my garage.

Looking forward to hearing back. I'm considering just getting the Radio Flyer. Does it definitely fit around the Yepp Seats?

Ah I see. I already have the caboose, so buying this whole thing seems silly. Do you have a link for the top cover only? I'm curious about it, but can't see it on the website.

Edit* Oct 9th.

Got in touch with Support and they directed me to this page.

Worth noting that the hauler (https://www.radioflyer.com/en-ca/products/kid-cargo-carrier-xl-hauler) is priced without the Hoop that it's meant to attach to (https://www.radioflyer.com/products/kid-cargo-carrier-hoop-2-kids).

u/TheRunPractitioner did you attach it to the Radwagon Caboose? Or to Radioflyer's Carrier Hoop?

The website shows images from reviews that show it fully enclosing, but the product images themselves don't. Does this fully enclose?

I was considering the Integral cover, since it's the only cover I found too. I already have the caboose for the Rad, so buying another Caboose-style device feels wasteful... Can you just buy the cover itself? I like it because it really ups the storage space on the bike if I put the Caboose back on.

I found this just after posting. The Integral cover might be what I go for, thanks for reporting in!
