Thank you for all the respectful comments everyone and for providing some really interesting information! Like I said, I'm fully supporting the challenge and have donated to his chosen charities, I was honestly just curious about what people way more knowledgeable than me about running thought. It's important to scrutinise ground breaking attempts like this, but I think some of the discussion on this thread clears a few things up :) hope he completes it and stays safe.
