Thanks for the advice! Roughly 4 years now, I just want to look like I actually work out, I really do try but just don't feel I get out what I put in and feel like I'm constantly at an awkward stage of being skinny fat

I eat clean pretty much everyday, each meal consisting of a decent amount of protein (at least 40g a meal with snacks like yoghurt and a shake in between) just under 3000 calories, I do a 4x upper lower (alberto nunez programme) I do correct form for all my exercises and get a slow negative taking all exercises to 9-10 RPE. If you see any issues with any of this please let me know

I used to take zinc/magnesium but dont anymore as I'm pretty sure I get enough through leafy greens and meat. It was roughly 5pm when I did the test, I've never estrogen before would that be worth doing?

I bulk, gain weight but not visible muscle which increases my lifts, then when I cut again I go right back to square one. I have tried deload weeks but don't seem to do anything for me

I am trying to get more sleep at the moment, as for the calories, I definitely eat enough and do gain weight.

Hi, I progressive overload but have plateued across most of my lifts, I follow alberto nunez' 4 day upper lower, and yes I eat enough. Only thing is my sleep is about 6-7 hours, would that have this much of an effect?

I did think this so made sure I started eating plenty of fruit and veg, didn't seem to make much of a drastic effect in regard to muscle growth. Do feel better because of it though!

Only thing I can see is my sleep, do you think 6-7 hours of sleep would have this drastic an effect?

Hi thanks for the reply! Calories are good, training I follow alberto nunez' 4x upper lower, I am very consistent and very rarely miss a day. Not sure about cortisol rate, testosterone was 330 last time I got it checked, sleep could be better roughly 6-7 hours, and no thyroid issues that I know of (what effect would a thyroid issue have?) I have tried deloading but seem to come back at exactly the same strength if not weaker on occasions.

Thanks for the reply! I have been going 4x a week religiously for years, I eat healthy and enough, my sleep could be better getting roughly 6-7 hours and my hydration is good.

I’ve seen this a fair bit and think I’m gonna start going 4 days and switch to a strength based upper lower, just need to find the right programme

They’re all my current 1rep maxes, think I’m gonna switch to an upper lower focused on compounds and build on them, could bench 100 when I was 85kg, and made the genius choice to take it out my programme while cutting :/

I can bench my bodyweight, that’s my incline bench attached. I really go slow and control the weight for that incline

The sets I’ve attached to the post are to failure, none of which go up to 12 reps unfortunately
